Re: Monarch Butterfly Monday
Sorry about your back, ((kitkat)). I hope some rest will help it.
I hope you have a nice phone call with your dbro, Doggedly. It is amazing how the monarchs know where to go. It's not like another butterfly teaches them.
Amazing that you have butterflies already, Bama. We're not yet done with the freezing temps nor past the possibility of snow and ice.
Did you keep the meter reader safe from Freddie, Kitty?
I hope the weather isn't too severe, L Ann. Stay safe. Were you able to walk outside?
Off to s2s now.

Re: Monarch Butterfly Monday
It was starting to rain again when I finished my walk but I got the next one on my walking app done. So far it is still cloudy which is hopefully a good thing. If I understand the weather guys the chance of really bad storms will be higher if it clears up and the reclouds when the storms approach…. Something about the temperature differences in the upper atmosphere.

It will be sort of like an
Anniversary Week
for us because it's been a year, around this time, when everySHE waved over the neighboring fence and posters on SHEforums began popping over, with introductions and greetings to and from posters here. Thank you, KittyKatt for mentioning it was about that time, quite right.

WTG on the walk, LAnn
Nice to see you Harriet
Enjoy lunch, helia
Found something useful to do: I have DGkids here so their parents can do their work.
I did put a lol in... and folded a lol.
Took some pill along with a pill to protect my stomach... Not my fav. thing to do but I need to be mobile.
My pup is getting VERY energetic... Not a good sign for me:) We need some indoor games while I make lunch for the girls.

Re: Monarch Butterfly Monday
Little Bit went home early so now I need to see where I am. I am currently busy watching a new woodpecker at the suet feeder. I have had one or two pairs of red bellied woodpeckers but the new one is a downy woodpecker.

Home from payroll. Need to get some groceries next. MZ has texted that she can't meet tonight - can we meet tomorrow night? Hmm....Dh and I will discuss. Probably - would we do our taxes tonight instead, then? How much of the evening would be spend with MZ tomorrow night?
Oh wow, have we been here a year already, Harriet?! I'm so glad you welcomed us. Time sure flies.
I saw a downy woodpecker at our feeder the other day, L Ann. They seem a little shyer than the red-bellied ones.

Re: Monarch Butterfly Monday
Helia, that’s a long commitment for you to inform the census people.
The couch is a really cool wood frame from the 70s with green removable cushions (anybody remember those?), regular price was $70 and it was marked down after being on the floor over 10 days so we got it for $63. The cushions look newish, so either not used much or replaced recently. I couldn’t refuse and it’s the perfect fit for Hollywood.
Aw, LAnn, sounds like your woodpeckers had a baby, how cute.
Kitkat, hope you’re feeling better. Would a cream (bengay, biofreeze type) help any?
Hi Harriet! Happy anniversary to us all! That year flew by, it’s hard to believe it has been so long. Thank you all for being so welcoming and becoming new friends almost like we’ve always been.
Helia, I was reading your butterfly info to dh and dd while we ate brunch. What a cool thing to do and so much information to gather that I’d never think about if I didn’t have you to tell me. 8)
If TRISSIE peeks in, regarding red onions, I love them raw and in salads. I will cook them if I’m out of white or yellow, they turn a dark color which the girls would think was gross when they were little lol. I will take all of the onions. Love em.
I just finished mopping and updating my list, next is a small break and update my planner from last week.

Planner is caught up. I watched the news while I filled it in and I’m glad I did. They did a piece on a music therapy program/job near here so I recorded and sent it to dd1, that was her major and it’s hard to find any openings here as it’s so new and we are always behind on new stuff.
Next is laundry and cook supper.
