Doggedly, the rotisserie chicken and rice is for tomorrow night's feeding the masses event - CG1. We're providing the main. Although, it will be a relatively small small group - only 12 people, though 4 of them will be pre-teens or teens + 1 younger child. It looks like you're dealing with a lot of appliances today.
I hope you do have nice weather tomorrow, L Ann. We had a gorgeous day today but tomorrow is supposed to be rainy all day. I'm still having trouble too. I hope it gets sorted out soon.
Freddie knows where the comfortable spot is, Kitty! :)

Tonight, dh and I are going to a fav Korean/ Japanese restaurant before the play.

I jogged the arb hill + a little extra to make it 2.5 miles. I am stronger; last time I tried the hill, I turned around halfway up.

I've sponged myself off and put on neat and nicer clothes. I'm waiting for dh to return. Then, we shall head off to eat dinner together.

Freddie gets his choice of seats until he has recovered from his surgery, right, Kittykatt? And Matilda doesn't mind sharing with you.

I hope that my weather guys are wrong, L.Ann. They are predicting lots of rain for us.
I hope that you found something nice at the second bakery.

Oh, that sounds like a nice evening. Enjoy yourself, helia.

Friday
Picked up dog’s food
Heart pill for Germane
Set alarm for one hour. After alarm, put food back down.
Cleaned up after dog
Put away dry dishes
Washed some dishes
Gathered clothes
Unpacked small slow cooker
Washed the soaking dishes
Dumped water
Loaded dw to run later.
Unpacked the slow cooker and washed all parts
Unpacked breadmaker and washed all parts. It attacked me and I now have a paper cut, but I struggle on valiantly.
Unpacked the air fryer. No manual. I took out the manual when I bought it, intending to read it, and I put the manual…….. Any guesses where?
Looked up the manual online.
Cleaned all parts of the air fryer
Started a new bottle of soya sauce of new brand. It doesn’t have a pouring spout.
Filled the soya sauce decanter, but can’t find the gasket.
Tried it: it seems fine without the gasket.
Set up the balcony for summer: lattice set up and checked out, table and chairs in place

I just made a long post after not being allowed in all day. And it was reflecting on hosting MrVKM on Sunday, plus bringing meal to dfBS, as I have not hosted FOREVER! Mother was always the hostess and it was always at her house.
my menu :
ham
mashed sweet potatoes
mashed russet potatoes
green beans
(no bread, that's enough carbs)
salad: orange jello with crushed pineapple, served on a leaf of lettuce
beverage choices: water, milk, Reisling. coffee with dessert
dessert: petit fours that were a gift
now to coordinate haveing it all done at the same time, and still get to church. We are having "Easter breakfast" before worship, so that will be 0900 - 1115 or so.
helia, I am in awe of all the entertaining you do, and seem to do so effortlesssly
(Now I have hit copy, in case my submit doens't work again)
