Hello, my friends. It's sort of a holiday for some people here. The statutory holiday for my side of the river was Friday; across the river it's today. Civil servants get both days off. Stores are open.
I had thought that I could bring the new ISP's equipment into the courier tomorrow, but I just got an email that our power will be off for upgrades tomorrow, which means no elevator or one elevator that will let you leave but not come back. So I will probably charge the back up batteries today and just stay home and rely on my phone tomorrow.

Gave Germane her heart pill.
Went back to bed
Put Germane’s food back down
Gave Germane some breakfast: snubbed
Gave her treat: accepted
Checked the temperature of the pork in her slow cooker: cooked
Gave Germane a saucer of meat and vegetables: She was delighted, but it didn’t take long before I started finding pieces of carrot and turnip on the floor
Gave her some rice in broth from the slow cooker
She loved that too, but still walked around dropping rice around the kitchen and entrance. Found a bean on the new mat in the living room.
Cleaned up after dog
Added some veg and broth to my own rice and veg for breakfast
Set up new Procrastaccomplishments list for the week
Put away dry laundry

French, my dreaded things are making medical appointments. I hate them.

I tried to make a doctors appointment but can’t find my insurance card. Dh thinks I gave mine to dd since she’s still covered and they only give out 2 cards. I’ll have to wait until he gets home to make the appt since I need the info on it to make the appt.

Afternoon check in. I just finished lunch. More payroll is next and then a jog.

I haven't read Bel Canto, FFB and kitkat and L Ann. Maybe I should; that sounds like an interesting premise and might improve my opinion of Ann Patchett - not that I have a bad opinion of her. I like here OK, but I've only read Tom Lake. And half of The Dutch House.
I hope you get the insurance info so you can make an appointment, Bama. Maybe the company could send you an extra card if you can't find yours?

I'm done teaching and I've had lunch and cleaned it up. I think I'll work on payroll at home for a couple hours and then go for a jog. For dinner, I'll pull a main from the freezer to go with leftover rice and veggies.

We had a good walk with my doggie... all the way to the last block. Then, a small dog (Shitzu?) started lunging, barking, growling at her from across the street. Mine literally jumped in the air 2 feet... I settled her and we came.

Dh has the main card so I will borrow his. The extra is probably in one of his many piles that he doesn’t like me to touch because I mess up his order lol. The office just had one appointment and it was for in the morning. Now I wait a couple weeks. No biggy. Just a checkup.

Trissie, that makes sense about the paint, I was picturing the thick ones of today and past ones were probably watered down more or more of a whitewash.

Jumping back in. I had the front door open and were having a small cold front here so I got cold and burrowed under the covers while I went through the dvr and deleted shows that I’ve seen or don’t want to watch. It counts as decluttering lol. Now to cook and dc dining room table and console top.

I used to have small dogs too,. I never tolerated the barking. Bama. I have worked w mine to avoid reactions for a year now. She is doing very well . Twice this week she got startled ... This time I expected it bc I've seen the little dog in action :
