Tried and True: Tuesday Ta Da! PWYC
Let's log those ta das today and make the most of celebrating our own accomplishments! Nancy already has her trash out and I see dh took ours out, so I can't claim a completion myself.
It's fun to celebrate all that we are doing along our PODA! What will you accomplish?

Re: Tried and True: Tuesday Ta Da! PWYC
Hi Twins' Mom! Thank you for starting us off today.
I have cleaned 2 of 3 litter boxes and I dealt with the bathroom garbage. I've been sitting at the kitchen table stitching in the sunshine while dh sleeps.
PSW is due in 1 1/2 hours.
It's very windy and cold here today. Not a day for taking a walk outside.

Re: Tried and True: Tuesday Ta Da! PWYC
We're continuing our cooler weather but that means highs around 70 instead of 80, and lows around 45-50. Enough that we need a little heat overnight and sometimes a little air in the late afternoon/evening.
I let the kitchen go yesterday, was kind of "hair on fire" in the a.m. getting mushrooms and getting soup going, then by the time workout was over and I was home again, I was just Done. Now...ta da! kitchen counters clear, crockpot put away, laundry going, instacart groceries ordered. Need to walk the impatient dog next.

Re: Tried and True: Tuesday Ta Da! PWYC
I swear I wrote a long post yesterday but must have gotten distracted in the middle and never pushed send. Day 2 of no work but I am going to work LOL. Going over at 11 to help new teacher get acclimated for 1 hour then I have a Life Line Screening at 11:15 at a local church. Bells are at 5:30, Tomorrow I have a massage at 10:15 and then tutoring at 5:30. Other than that I have taxes to do, possibly this afternoon since hubby is home today for 2 appointments. Also we need to do a deep clean of floors - the house smells like a sick vet office from our dying dog. This morning it reaked of skunk, I think one of the little stinkers was right outside and the smell came in through the dog door. We need to seal off dog door. I do need to run to the laundromat and wash all of the bedding and blankets to donate along with leftover food. Going to sell his bed dog ramp (it was pricey and not very old). I miss the little bugger, he was my shadow. He did have a good final day, other than the shot to knock him out, the doctor put between shoulder blades and he screamed in pain for 15 seconds, I hate that his last memory was painful. The doctor made a joke and said he got the best drama award. He was in pain, I recognize his pain scream. Was up and created a power point for my presentation on Monday morning at 8 a.m. next week. Need to get my head around conference next week too - just not into it any more.
My brain is having trouble shifting into a new normal.
Things on my list to do:
Do Taxes
Exercise daily
Sew up graduation robes (zippers separated from robe) and return to school, need done before I leave.
Make shorter orange stole for Mother V to wear in May to July - need done before I leave
cover rocking chair cushions
Declutter office and clean floor
Declutter great room and clean floor
Declutter master bedroom and clean floor
Wash all of the human and pet bedding and dog blankets at Laundro
Donate or sell all of dog supplies we have (not getting another).
Take stock of food stores and make up menus

I have moved the hose in front off the grass in anticipation of mowing with my new
Green Works 80 Volt mower. Dson helped me get it set up.
I charged the batteries. Was up till 11:00 doing that as dson came by at nine with it he worked late
then stopped by the Costco.
Read over the instructions tiny print thank goodness for you tube vids. on that info.!
I do not think mine has head lites. It's last years model I believe.
Only single port charger. It was the last one they had in a box dson said.
I've had bfast.
Need to get dressed.
bujo & mp happened.
Bs was great this morning.
-----
De-boned a chicken to get the bones in the trash pick up this week for the win!
Made up soup and it's cooking now.
Nearly at our hi temp today 63* now 3 more degrees to do.
Grass is still wet.
I did get the mower set on turtle speed and at the highest setting for the grass to be cut at.
Have a good one.

Re: Tried and True: Tuesday Ta Da! PWYC
Good morning!
Cold here. Cold enough that today's ballgame has been moved from the evening to the afternoon. Sunny, though.
Speaking of Sunny, how good to see her!
DH is home but is definitely working from home, so I am doing the driving for DC today. I arranged a pickup at Target for our way back -- more protein shakes
. Other than Aldi with their house brand, the price is best there.
If all goes well, I will accomplish a huge ta-da today -- finishing my nightstand. I have a few things to put back on the shelves there and an entire tote bag of things that need to be put elsewhere!
Virtual appointment with the psychiatrist this afternoon. Everything's fine -- I just need to refill my ADHD meds.
We are going out to dinner this evening with friends that we see far too seldom -- and it's likely to get even more seldom as they have moved into his late father's house more than an hour away. It's been a couple of years since we got out to dinner together, and I'm sure the visit will be much too short.
Condolences on the loss of your ddog, Costumelady. I had a brief moment of confusion at Mother V before realizing, duh, what else would you call a female priest? Not accustomed to the use of orange as a liturgical color -- what does it signify?
I hope you enjoy your new lawn mower, Nancy! Or at least that it works well for you -- I don't know how much you enjoy mowing.
Have a great day, everybody!

Good morning
I wish we could sit down together and talk in real time. I don't think you can hear me respond to you as I read your post.
My attention span is ....SQUIRREL!
i get to stay home today (besides leaving the house 3 times for school drop off/pickup & drinks)
I am using my hip pad today to make a note each hour. I put the time down and write down 3 things that I will accomplish before the hour is up. I am somewhat puzzled how well I get things done each hour by using this method. The act of deciding 3 tasks and writing them down each hour has great influence on my success rate.
--11:12am make frozen treat, walk, water plants
Mystery - if you enjoy eating frozen things then the protein shakes makes a wonderful ice cream like treat. I use to freeze them and use the creami machine to whip them into perfection consistence, but now I just eat the frozen protein drinks with a spoon without needing them all fluffed up.

Right there with you LadyM.My attention span is ....SQUIRREL!
I've been all over the place and accomplished little. The roomba is going on the porch to take up some of the pollen - at least what's on the floor. I went off on a tangent about an HOA matter. I compared the amended tax 1099 to the original and changed one number. Rebooted laundry and asked dh to fold. Not sure what else. I'm hoping dh can handle putting away groceries without me.
I'm upstairs now, going to work on the CA state return for our taxes and try to complete that.
