I worked on my resume, it's grealty improved, maybe 30-45 minutes more in the evening and I will be able to send it. Helped by an AI, I rewrote parts, taking the resume piece after piece to improve it, reorganize the blocks, and make it more relevant to my current search. Also did some admin didn'twanna, glad to make progress on that too. MrNG cooked our Sunday lunch, also managed to bake a dessrt, with a little help from an AI friend too. We are becoming very dependent on extra-AI-help.
It's sunny, I hope to be able to enjo some outdoors stuff at some point.

Back from the city wide race! We got back about an hour ago. I did better than I thought I would; I was even able to sprint at the end. With walking to and from the parked car, my step count has topped 11K already. About 10.5K people ran (or walked - there are a lot of walkers) in this annual race.

I hope that your library books are enjoyable, even if they are not great. You deserve a nice break.
(((trissie and dfamily))) It's hard to lose a parent, but when that parent was a caretaker for a dependent, that is a lot more complicated. A hard time for your dh for sure, but at least he knows that he has solid family support to come home to.
Germane is almost blind. To make things worse, she's getting a little senile so she doesn't think her way out of problems as well as a younger dog would. Luckily, she does seem to always remember to clack her nails against the floor or something metal and that always wakes me up so that I can help her. I'm guessing that this is a strategy that she has been using successfully since she was a puppy, so she doesn't need to be alert to think of it.

Tiptoed around pee and poo and made my way to cleaning supplies
15 minutes on poop clean up
Getting nauseated from bending over. Took break to eat crackers.
Heart pill for Germane
Half an hour on poop cleanup. Got more and more discouraged at the thought of how to clean the new bigger mat that won’t fit in a washing machine. Finally realized that I was looking at a $10 purchase, and $10 is replaceable.
Got a garbage bag, rolled up the mat and saw from the back that Germane has been peeing on it all along. Felt vindicated. Bagged it up in garbage bag to bring down later.

We had a lovely service this morning, and although DF E wasn't feeling very well when I arrived, she did seem to perk up with her coffee. Today's lunch was roast pork, roast potatoes, gravy, apple sauce, spring greens, carrots, green beans, followed by rhubarb crumble and cream. I haven't done much outside today as the wind is cold, and we keep having heavy showers, but Fred has been out for his walk. I've done a little with the photos, and we're now watching Poirot (Three Act Tragedy).

Trissie, sending so much sympathy to your dh and family. As has been said, it's always hard, but much more so when you have to figure out how to manage care for his mom as well. I have no idea how those things work in your country. Were your children close to their grandfather? I'm guessing this was rather unexpected? Sending birthday wishes to the twins, also.
Doggedly, Germane is losing ground, isn't she. You are so kind to her.
I don't have time for individual greetings - it's 3pm and I have shown apartment at Mom's house, and am in the midst of mega yard work there. (Had to come home to get some containers to put debris in.)
We had a good service at church today - certainly low key compared to Easter, but had a nice ladies choir number, and attendance was not bad.
Heading back to Mom's, might stop in later...
