Good morning!
Thanks for the start Kittykatt - I had no idea there was such a thing as marble championship...
Good advice on changing negative thinking... (I was picturing myself walking down the street, yelling, "stop!" )
FFly - hike in the woods sounds so nice! Enjoy.

Had a little trouble signing in - hopefully, temporary
Sunny and cold here. Would you believe we had some snow yesterday? Thankfully, it's not cold enough for it to stay...
I was getting excited seeing Forsythia, Magnolia, tulips blooming on my walks.

Today:
wash bathing suit
I make the tiramisu (I did not finish yesterday)
take pup for walk
go to gym with DD
PUPAs main floor
...
in the evening Dkids are coming over

Hello, all. I wandered away yesterday as my db called and we had a nice visit.

Thank you for another fun start, Kittykatt. I'm sorry that the rose had to go and resisting going so vigorously. I hope that your soreness passes soon, and that the new shoes help.

FrenchFly, it sounds like you are giving your dsons a great vacation with happy memories. I hope that you get to relax too, today, and that Kittykatt's strategy can help you.

I would believe the snow, kitkat. It's hovering just above and below freezing here.

Monday
Gave Germane heart pill
Picked up her food
Scrubbed roasting pan that was soaking
Cleaned up after dog
Scrubbed out sink and basin
Washed some dishes
Wiped down accessible surfaces
Computer started up extremely slow.
Set up lapto instead. Computer can act up to its heart’s content. Three weeks from now, my db will have converted it to a Linux box.
Set up new Procrastaccomplishments list for the week
Dried some dishes

Hello, KitKat and Dogged!

KitKat, tiramisu sounds delicious -I haven't made it for ages. Maybe for this Sunday?

Dogged, I'm very impressed that your DBro will be able to wrestle your recalcitrant computer into submission with a new operating system!

I've had a reasonably productive day. I topped up some of the bark in the back garden and picked up more leaves from the two euonymus (euonymi?) that I pruned at the weekend. The front garden is looking ok -the London Pride will hopefully grow over where the rose was, no no huge gap!

Upstairs is clean and tidy, and everyone has been fed.

Looks like a quiet Monday. We had a successful first day at the hospital. All appointments went well and I got my walking in. There was also lots of time for reading.

I've been MIA for a few days ; life has been so full....
College president inaugurated - with 3 hour symposium in the morning, a grand buffet luncheon, an even grander installation service with the Bishop and a whole bunch of other dignitaries.
A "meet and greet" with an author.
Took dfPS to eye dr
got estimate for hail repair on my car.
A funeral.
Shopping for work boots so I can do some yard work without injuring my feet.
Supper with MrVKM.
Church.
Buying work boots.
Given tickets for a play, and was grateful MrVKM would go with me Will Wonka and the Chocolate Factory - so afterwards, of course I was hunger for chocolate, so baking my grnadmother's chocolate cake is on the list for htis week.
Visited with dfML whose husband is in the hospital with cardiac issues.
Washed sheets, made bed
unloaded, loaded DW
raked some of my, some of mother's yards
met with landscape guy to repair some of my yard after teh big truck from the tree trimmer late winter.
Working on prayer shawl that has to be done by May 15. I have made good progress.
None of these are little!
I hoep to find time to cuop someitme.

Remainder fo day - unload DW

shampoo
crochet

L.ann, who's in the hospital? Is it DD?

Wednesday drive 80 miles to have lunch with dfLD whose husband almost died from a ruptured abscess, but is home now (she's a nurse and says he wouldn't be home without her skills. )
