Well that was odd. Germane came out, used her pee pad, drank a bit and went straight back to the bathroom. I had to give her her heart pill and peanut butter in the bathroom. When I checked on her a bit later, she sound asleep again. Shower later.

Bama, 60s and 70s definitely sound better than 90s. It sounds like you are enjoying the weather that you wait all year for. Nothing wrong with taking time out to enjoy it!

Hi, helia. I hope that payroll is going well.

Germane came back to life later, repeed the floor, collected her treat, and now she's reclaimed the bathroom.

Tuesday
Picked up Germane’s food
Gave Germane her heart pill.
Set up the coffee maker
Cleaned up after dog
Washed the main part of the floor
Brought out the small slow cooker
Checked the pork that I took out to thaw for Germane
Prepped carrots and rutabaga for the slow cooker
Germane woke up and peed off the edge of the pee pad and then walked around dribbling.
Started slow cooker

To Do:
Second verse: same as the first

(((Dogged and Germane))), maybe she wasn’t finished with a good dream so went back to catch that squirrel or whatever was in her dream.

List updated. Dd1 came down to visit a minute after she had a job interview this morning. She’s living in mom’s trailer now which is nice. I ate lunch and am chilling a minute before I get back to work.

Oh, there's no harm, Bama. My floor is looking pretty good with all of the attention that it has been getting. :)
That's great that you have DD1 living so close. And a job interview for her is exciting.

Was about to start on the floor. I have my afternoon TV programs on. It’s a live station that I reach through Roku. It lost its connection. This particular station does this a lot.
Tried to switch to the projector. Can’t find the remote
Started connecting directly to the station via my laptop. It brought up the show but without sound.
Disconnected the laptop from the switch box: now I have video and sound
Checked network connection to Roku: good
Restarted Roku
Tested it again: now it’s working. Switched back to Roku and TV
Messaged with dnephew about upcoming trip
Cleaned up after dog
Cleaned that part of the floor
Put on lunch to cook
Scrubbed out sink and basin

Hello everyone!

Helia, Baby I sounds adorable, and I'm glad DH's presentation went well.

Bama, if Tux has a microchip, could you try one of those bowls that's operated by a cat microchip for him? There is a bit of a learning curve involved.for the cat, but it's been a lifesaver for me for Jude and Matilda who have one each. (Freddie learned very quickly that if he tried to muscle in , the lid just came down).

Gma,.I'm glad you're enjoying this week's theme. I, too, have a special teddy bear, given to me.by my grandparents soon after I was born, as my grandfather insisted that I had a "proper" teddy bear! :D

Have you been able.to.evict Germane from the bathroom yet, Dogged? :D

I'm in bed now, with Matilda snuggled up,.after a reasonably successful day..I topped.up.sime.bark.in the front.garden,.and watered the London.Pride.thst.got disturbed during the recent rose eviction. There was only time for a.short walk, as Freddie claimed my lap. The sitting room is clean and tidy, and I wrapped 2. items for eBay.

That sounds like a nice productive day, Kitty.
That's nice to have Dd1 close by, Bama. I hope the job interview went well! Payroll is going well - there's just a lot of little things to do. And more I still need to do - but I'll work on them tomorrow while I'm on site. I'm going in a bit early before my class.
WTG with the clean floor, Doggedly.

I did not get in a jog today. I was so so tired a- nd I also wanted to get some things squared away with work. But I'm done now; I really need to do something else. I'm going to take myself for a walk and then see what I need to do to prep for dinner guests - if there are any. I don't consider M or DD30 dinner guests.

Next:
- go for a walk (I'll jog tomorrow morning)
- s/s main bathroom
- finish unpacking

Later:
- make bed
- home; dress to jog
- go for a jog
- menu plan and groc. list
- Kroger order??

- home; yogurt snack
- payroll: made syllabus for AS
- payroll: made lists of irregular verbs
- payroll: made Telegram group for AS

That sounds like a successful day to me, Kittykatt! I am happy to say that Germane came out on her own, drawn by the scent of my lunch, and I took advantage of the opportunity to slide into her spot and get my shower. I came out to find her happily sleeping on her living room bed.

I'm glad that payroll is going well, helia.

I've had my shower, Germane has had her snack and pills, and if she is in a deep enough sleep back in the bathroom to not notice, I'll sneak out and pop over to the pharmacy.

Tuesday

Picked up Germane’s food
Gave Germane her heart pill.
Set up the coffee maker
Cleaned up after dog
Washed the main part of the floor
Brought out the small slow cooker
Checked the pork that I took out to thaw for Germane
Prepped carrots and rutabaga for the slow cooker
Germane woke up and peed off the edge of the pee pad and then walked around dribbling.

Day 2 was a success. DD33 is a rock star with bone marrow biopsies. We have a half day tomorrow…. Just an MRI, ultrasound and bloodwork.

We are at NIH, GMA. Just follow up stuff and research study tests for DD33’s genetic disease.
