Hi!

I started the day early. All 3 litter boxes got deep cleaned. Dh has had his O zempic and his water pill. Last night I asked him if he might want to try melotonin. (?) I don't think it helped me, but that was a long time ago. He wants something that will put him under but he wants a clear start to the day.

Dh turned on the stereo this morning. I don't enjoy this DJ, but there is good music on this station. Lots of Eagles, with some Aretha Franklin and Beatles.

Morning up at five today it was light already.
A bit stiff today after weeding and gardening instead of a windy walk.
Today mowing is on my mind and I need to change sheets.
Store run has been put off... not sure why weather I think.

I'm trying to adjust to new readers I think they are going to need a tweak.

I've not had bfast bs was great this morning yea!
I did my stretching on the deck.
Working on getting my AM & PM routines is coming along but slowly very slowly!

Added an art planner to update 2x a week has shifted the balance to just over what I can do I think.
Will be done with a bujo and not restart that one next week that should help.

Doggo needs her nails clipped today's mission is that! x - did some.
Got the hoses rolled up.
s2s & hair is clean & dry now. -> [ Feeling better that helped. ]

-----

Made my chicken & cheese San. for my lunch.
Considering having it on the deck in a bit.

Waving to every one thanks for sharing!

Good morning

Friday is the weekly Ozempic day here too for DH and DS17.

Instead of getting up when the alarm went off this morning I choose to pick up phone and scroll video & pictures from last night tornado that happened in my state (an hour away from my location). The powerful tornado traveled across the street from air force base while destroying 40 homes without causing any deaths. The massive & immediate emergency response was impressive.

DH has appointment this morning with family doctor to follow up on his stay in the hospital. I need to get ready for that. *POOF*

Good noon-ish! I have been doing a leisurely conga which will be speeding up later. Got all the uneaten Chinese containers out of the fridge to the trash along with some of the dead flowers from the dining table. The rest of the dead flowers are in a bag waiting for me to take it out to the compost pile. Things will speed up after lunch in preparation for a crazy busy day tomorrow.

Tomorrow, I have book club in the morning, girls' night in the evening, and DC's play in between. I said I would bring garlic bread for the evening, and I feel like I should bring something for the morning, particularly as book club is meeting about the time I generally have breakfast on Saturdays. Glad I didn't offer anything more complicated than garlic bread, as I will not really have time to cook, but I would like to get something nice from the Italian deli. If I just get frozen garlic bread from the grocery, that will have to do, though.

So today, I will have some lunch then put together something for DC to take along this afternoon (call time is 3:00, though they want to get there early; the play itself is at 7:30, so it will be at least 9:00 before they're out of there, and I don't know if the college cafeteria is open on Fridays, as there are very few classes that meet). I'll need to get gas after dropping DC. At some point after that, I need to go shopping for tomorrow's nibbles. I also need to figure out what my dinner will be -- DH and DD are headed to the hockey game tonight, so it will just be me. I want DD to cut some grass before she and DH go. She would do it right now, but there is a bunny lounging there, and we do not want to disturb our bun. Hmm, this all sounds very doable. As of yesterday, I am all caught up on the wash -- I do not believe there is a full load of anything waiting -- so that can take a couple of days off.

Glad the tornado missed you, LadyM! Gladder still that there was no loss of life.

Ah, well, I should make that lunch! *Poof!*

Home from meeting with family doctor. I had 3 questions for him and he thoroughly answered each one. There is a high probability that I am a PITA sometimes to our family doctor. We are always respectful and kind in our conversations but we both are a bit stubborn. The doctor is still in the AFib causing the amnesia episodes and is pushing for DH to have implant device near heart to detect. I told him why I don't think it is AFib and reminded him that DH wears a smartwatch 24/7 that is 98% accurate in detecting AFib and it has never shown any AFib signs. Plus the 2 weeks of wearing medical harness with continual heart monitor....no AFib indication. Plus the multiple heart test....no AFib indication. Plus the multiple experiences wearing heart monitor in the ER for multiple hours....no AFib indication. There has never been any indication that DH has experience AFib. I decline pursuing the AFib theory by having implant installed.
I admitted to the family doctor that I felt foolish arguing with him about this because I have no medical training, but I am the worlds most knowledgeable on DH and his symptoms. I asked that we pursue the partial seizures theory. At least we have absolute firm real symptoms to back that theory and the doctor conceded. ANYway, Dh has 4 follow-up tests, referrals, and appointments.

DS17 called 3 times while I was in the doctor office. Each time I declined his call. After I got out of the appointment I called him back. He was excited to tell me that he got another bonus this week on his paycheck. His boss wrote on the back thanking him for the great effort this week. How to motivate DS17? Give him compliments. The bonus money is an extra motivation.

We stopped at local BBQ place on our way home to pick up food since I wasn't home to cook this morning. 2 lbs of freshly fried fish, 2 lbs of sliced brisket, 2 three meat sandwiches. We will have no starving teenagers today.

Vent: I just resigned as board member/treasurer of the temple cemetery effective 30 June. The trip there on Tuesday set me off with unmet maintenance needs and the chair person isn't listening/remembering when I prod him. Talked to temple prez who stated he'd rather lose the current chair than me, OTOH, I've discussed this with prez several times before and he hasn't been willing to do anything.

I'm finally doing the lasagne sauce today for ds.

Update: Temple prez asked the other guy to step down so I've taken the position of chair. Lasagne sauce is bubbling away.

I wrote a post earlier and sent it twice but got the error message each time.

Here's try number 3 for the day....

I am roasting 2 turkey thighs with carrots and potatoes that have both been parboiled. (partially boiled?)

I am also making stovetop stuffing for me. Dh never eats it. The only thing missing is cranberry sauce. Darn. I will have leftover turkey for sandwiches at some point this weekend. We are having pork ribs tomorrow with brown beans. I will surprise dh by going and getting cornbread tomorrow if they have any. I will also get more coleslaw.
