Re: Skipping Rope Sunday
Popping in but can't be social.
My toe is just swollen and blue, kitkat. I already struggle with a little numbness in the toes of that foot from metatarsalgia, so maybe that's why its not more painful.
LOL Doggedly!
The finches seem to be the most demanding.
Sunshine is always good, kitkat! We have that today too!!
Ah, henna in the bathroom. Did you notice any new body art this morning? Sounds like a fun night for the girls, trissie.
I'm almost ready for a new fun book, L Ann. I think I'll look at your recommendations.
You are lucky, FFB! That's a nice health perk to have.
Glad you have an afternoon off, Lauralind.
Hi Kitty! I can't scroll back to your comments. I hope church and coffee went well.
CG2 friends will be arriving in 45 minutes. SO, I need to do a little house spiffing. I think I'll also work on the MBR, maybe strip the bed and get sheets + lights washing.
Next:
- strip the MBR bed
- start a load of laundry
- tidy living areas
Later:
- strip the MBR bed
- remake the bed with clean sheets
- load of lights: w d f pa
- lists in notebook
- payroll: start prep for AI AS D3
- can I make a menu plan and groc. list for the week?
- update goodreads
- s/s main bathroom
- spiff living areas
- clean stove top
- can I get in a walk?
- will dh get snacks for CG2?
- Do I need to go to WF to get a rotisserie chicken?
- 3:30 - 6 host CG2 here
- dinner: Bread, Dutch cheese, rotisserie chicken
- after dinner clean up
- figure out how to connect with dd27 re: her resume'
- 8:15 family zoom call
- finish book!
- duolingo
- update health apps
- other things??
TaDas!
- up; weighed self
- coffee
- weather underground and email deletions
- refilled the bird feeder at the request of Mrs. Goldfinch
- reclaimed kitchen
- back exercises
- s2s and self care
- church
- coffee after church
- home; lunch
- after lunch clean up

Re: Skipping Rope Sunday
kittykatt, it's better if WW3 breaks over trivial stuff than over something big - unless, of course, people holf grudges for decades even over coffee!
Dogged, is that your actual whiteboard for tasks?
I don't have to read/listen to a book on magical thinking, L.Ann, I can do all of my fairy tale thinking for myself, by, for example, writing a completely unrealistic list and magically thinking that it will get done that day!
kitkat, sunshine and 10C is definitely an improvement!
lauralind, a plan? don't know her, do you?
Seriously, though, sticking to plan when there's other people throwing a wrench in them is very hard!
Frenchie, I think green asparagus is more common, though white is sold too. Anyway, we have green on on hand right now. And it wasn't used today, so maybe tomorrow?
helia, one of the twins has a visible hand tatoo. I asked if they used a good henna, as I know it can trigger really bad allergic reactions, but the girls claimed the one who brought it bought it at a reputable specialized store, so I hope it will be OK!
I kinda forgot that I promised the girls I would take them to the newly opened strip mall next to our LIDL, so we did a quickie trip. They had a 20% discount in some of the stores for the opening weekend, so I got a couple household items and also bought fresh baguettes for dinner. The kids are finally old enough to accept a salad with protein (eggs and mozarella balls) and baguette as a dinner!
Onto my last set... with a really long list of not-dones

Re: Skipping Rope Sunday
Hi, all! We have been enjoying the splendid weather and now we're back I will CUOP back to front for variety.
Germane is having a good day, kitkat. She has been eating her food and seems to like the topper that I bought. I'm hoping to use it on our trip to cut down on what I have to cook for her while we are away.
Go, Toronto! Is this hockey or basketball?
That's exactly what it is, trissie. I don't use it all the time, but if I'm doing a lot of little random tasks quickly, it's more efficient than typing it on the computer, especially if my computer is in a mood and I have to watch the little blue circle turning. Also, sitting down is its own temptation. Then I can either type it into Google Docs later, or I can take a picture of it and import it into Google Docs.
I can relate to your magical thinking, LOL. When I plan my lists, I usually rely on my magically turning into quite a different person to get them done.
Every feeder needs an effective spokesbird, helia.
L.Ann, they were talking about a book on the radio that sounded like a fun read. It's called Yesteryear, and it's about a tradwife influencer who gets magicked back to those times so she actually has to live that life. Kind of like A Connecticut Yankee In King Arthur's Court.
Sorry about the coffee drama, Kittykatt, especially with the Bishop visiting. I always remember on Coronation Street Emily saying "This would be so much easier if I just gave the money and did it myself, but the idea is to involve the whole community." I'm thinking that you can relate.
Sunday
Put away dry laundry
Put away big laundry rack
Cleaned up after dog
Quick cleanup of floor around pee pads
Picked up her food and waited for her to wake up to give her her heart pill
Put away dry dishes
Got screwdriver
Loosened lid handle to let the moisture out
Gave Germane her heart pill
CUOP
Swapped out kitchen towels/cloths
Scrubbed out sink and basin
Washed a few basinsful of dishes
Tried the new commercial topper on Germane’s dog food. She likes it so far.
Put away dishes from dw
Covered dw and put cart away
Covered walk-in closet
Cooked potatoes and carrots for breakfast
Showered/washed hair
Bagged garbage and brought it to chute
Took Germane out for a carry in the beautiful weather

Re: Skipping Rope Sunday
It's going to be a wait, L.Ann. I have put myself on the Hold list for it, but it's a long queue, LOL.
Bama, I strongly recommend that you don't follow Voyager 1's communications to NASA, because then you'll be wanting to move out past the Kuiper Belt. Look away!
