Hello, dear friends, SO good to see you and to be able to give a report on a Checkup our site has had.
We're in good health ;) , and have a further plan to stay that way, with some site changes that will be mostly invisible to us.

There's a new topic, "An Info Topic - Update on Our Site's Recent Checkup", in the Members section of our site just below Fun and Games.

Hello everyone!

L.Ann, a boat bride sounds lovely!

KitKat, the bite is healing, slowly, but from the bottom up, which is what we all want to happen. Freddie is now quite a celebrity to people who have never met him (although they have seen his picture on my phone, where he has a "Dont mess with me!" face! Skin issues are slowly improving as well, thank you for asking, but there's a mixture of factors involved there, including (bizarrely!) the tablets I take for my asthma. My personal feelings are that it was the immune reaction from the MMR vaccine that pushed everything over the edge, and it's just going to take time to settle back down again. And, of course, patience is not one of my strengths!

Gma, feet are important, and it's vital to have the right footwear for the job. :D

Harriet, thank you so much for all the time and trouble you've taken to get our lovely online home back on order again, and for the detailed explanations.

Well, I didn't get any extras done today, but I do now have a clean and tidy upstairs, so I'm calling it a win. DH used the leftover chicken from Sunday to cook a very tasty supper. The throw from the spare room bed and the cat blankets are in the washing machine, and Matilda is on my lap.

SO nice to get here again! I can't stay - I'm getting dinner on the table. Got home from work 1:20 ago and took an hour to decompress; it was nonstop all day - I didn't even get a shower this morning. I split my lunch between before going in to payroll and after arriving home. I did payroll at home for about 2.5 hours this morning - prepped, made exams, updated gradelink, made slides, graded, etc. Then, I met with AC 12:30 - 1, went to teacher meeting 1 - 1:40, and taught 1:40 - 3:30. Worked on an answer key after class. Got home around 4.

Now, we're eating and then going to the church plant BS 6-7:30. Then, we have a zoom call with ds + F at 8:30 - 9:30ish pm. Hopefully baby I will make an appearance. ❀️ After that, I need to type up highlights from a payroll meeting today for morning announcements tomorrow. And then, it will be 10:30 ish, and I'll need to do duolingo and update health apps. Not much to update on them after a day like today.

I'll try to pop in later tonight. . .

Popping in between Bible study and the zoom call.

Thank you Harriet and Twins and others who got us up and running again!
I have not thought about Mother's Day cards, Gma. I guess I could give one to my ddil. I still owe ds his birthday card, now over a month late.
What do you use to clean your grout, L Ann? The grout in our shower could use some TLC. I tried barkeepers - maybe I didn't let it sit long enough.
Sounds like a really nice time with DGD, kitkat.

Hi all. Wow. I have had a weird day. Well normal work day for us. I think some places closed and others had to only take cash. Internet and data service on the main telus were down today. No card machines in most stores tho we were probably the only place that had it. No email and phone. No matter this site down I had no connection anyway.

Busy day again. Its crazy right now with garden yard care time. Work trying to keep stuff on the shelves.

Oh and the other excitement? Spring time means animals again. Bears are around. So I decided in the beautiful weather to go for a walk like 8 at night. Got back around 830. Then when I took Casper back out it was almost dark and he instantly yanked the leash off me and took off. After the bears in the back end of the lawn. Scared me out of my mind but he must have chased them off and came right back. Took him back in for a bit and then he went back out. He was surprisingly calm and just on lookout a bit. But goodness what to do if he just keeps going. Or they hurt him.

Now what's for supper. It's a beautiful 24c out. Ds had rugby after school and he can't handle heat. He thinks it's really hot out and he wants salad for supper.

Kittykat I took the opportunity to email gma directly with my crochet project. She's pretty close i think. I'm so close to finished my sweater and then I'll try. Thank you gma. I'm going to take it with me to bible study and get some of the older ladies to look at it. Not even sure if that will help so I really think gma you got it.

Hi, all! I am happy to be able to pop in and say hi. I had a bit of a white knuckle trip, but now that I am here I am enjoying hanging out with my db. His cat is not fond of Germane because she lurches around, but he stays up high and leaves the first two dimensions to her and peace reigns.

Laurlind, your machines were down because vandals cut the wires. They were trying to steal copper from the wires.

Have a good week, all.
