I brought the NokBox papers to the den and opened them. Need to see how many file folders I need. I bought the bare bones set so will use my own folders and file box. I bought this right after dh's death, thinking I would be helpful to ds and maybe use it to guide me for what I need to know about dmom's business, you know.

DGD wants to come over, so I will go get her and get the cushion for my chaise lounge. If I ever get over this sinus infection, perhaps I will lounge in the shade in my carport and read books and nap.

Lucy L. my vids. are shorts of stuff I do or see today was flowers, ddoggo, and crafting projects I've finished.

I weeded another bed and have the long grasses picked up I mowed. Considering letting these three go back to grass for less weeding time.
I just have a few holly hocks and irised in them now so that can be done before spring. Reseed as needed too I need to get some if it's in stock.

I do 15 min. at a time in my outside rounds a walk is twice that.

I 've Sat for a few min. after lunch.
Did a bit more knitting on my new project.

I don’t do any social media except Facebook, Nancy.
And I’ve learned if I set the sleep timer on the tv, it will be off when I wake up, and if I LEAVE it off, my day will start better.

I got to the bank and did Walmart and got gas in dh's truck so we don't need to do that tomorrow. I dropped of the bag of stuff from Walmart and talked to dh about my purchases and then I left. DMIL will be getting 2 red peony bulbs to plant. They didn't have much left on that display box of stuff to plant. (They had dahlias and one pink peony left after I grabbed the 2 red ones.) Dh also requested a bag of black licorice for her as well.

I got to Friday afternoon group just after 1 p.m. I was impressed with how my day was organized enough to be able to do that.

I stopped at Subway on the way home for 2 subs. All dh wanted on his was sub sauce and tomatoes to go along with the meat. (Cold cut foot long)

I think I am always effective and sensible but spent two hours trying to renew a non profits corporate registration when it should have taken 20 minutes. Trying to take over from someone who passed away

today worked from home, cleaned floors and bathroom, got groceries and gas and everything in between

Well, the best-laid plans. This time, not mine, but affecting me. Plan for my kids with families to surprise at the same time tomorrow have fallen through. Dd27 is a little miffed, but this is would have been difficult to accomplish. Her father is a little miffed with her, too, for not informing him earlier that things were starting to look shaky, so that he might not have even given a warning (I mean, let it slip by accident, of course, lol) to me.

As it is, good things happened. Work around the house looks very nice. We may still see dd27 and dsonil.
I've been trying to be effective and sensible in delegating, so that I get along with my helper!
Mr. Clean Magic Eraser accomplishing some, too.

Mentioning the have gun will travel phrase to HRH, I should have known I would be regaled with old tv knowledge. Gene Roddenberry wrote over 20 of the shows and credited that experience with being able to impress Lucille Ball, much later, with his writing on the new series he was pitching, Star Trek.

Cathy, that sounds like a lovely set of gifts for your dmil. I like both of those ideas.

I did not have receiving golf ball size hail on my bingo card for tonight, but it happened. (the weather people have put the hail official size at 1.75") It was LOUD hitting and bouncing off everything. DS17 called in a mild panic while it was happening, and I reminded him that as long as he stays indoors then it will be okay. Vehicles and houses can be repaired. Thankfully we didn't have any windows break. The hail happened right before dark so we will wait until the sun comes up tomorrow to see the damage. My poor garden.....tomato plants are about waist high...well...before the hail happened, they were....now many of the tomatoe plants are beat up and laying on the ground.

Oh, wow, LadyM, I'm so sorry ya'll got pelted like that! So unfair. Hoping that tomorrow it won't look as bad as you worry it might. And glad you're safe.

Tomorrow I'll have two deliveries that were significantly less expensive than purchasing locally. Some coir basket liners, "readers" glasses and little lanyards to hold them around my neck, potentially.

Dgd and I played outside for awhile, and I got my chaise lounge cushion in place. Amazon sent me two by mistake so I took care of that return — already printed the label and dropped it off at the drug store that handles UPS.
THEN I couldn’t find my phone.it would not ping gif the “find my device” thing on my watch.
Went to ds’ house, to get him to look at the Life 360 app and see where it was! I was scared to death it had fallen out of the car at the drug store that handles! No one home… no one home at either of my cousins’houses… started back to town and saw ds’ car at local restaurant!
Went in, ds checked the app, PHONE WAS STILL AT MY HOUSE!!! Aaaauuugghh.
Back home, found it finally. Laying beside the computer. SMH… I just panicked, I guess.

ChatGPT and DS helped me get my watch and phone connected again so it will ping next time it gets lost.

Got that nokbox stuff out. I may never complete that stuff. It is too depressing. The last page/file has a place where you can order your casket. Ugh.
And a lot of it doesn't apply to me anyway. I don’t have a mortgage or pets or dependents, for example.
