Well, here it is almost 3pm, and I have done completely different things than what is on my list. I joined dd27, dd30, M, and dh at the dog park. LOL! It kinda became a big party. I've done some shopping online. And now it looks like it's going to rain. :? I can either jog after the rain (may pass in an hour) or join dh tomorrow morning early before church. I think I'm going to go with the latter, otherwise I won't make any forward progress today at all.

Next:
- back exercises
- s2s and self care
- make bed
- some qt

Later:
- s2s and self care - before or after run? (or both?)
- some qt
- update lists
- payroll: draft of IR exam ready for review - wip
- payroll: message LH re: course pack edits
- payroll: message CM re: past exam errors
- payroll: update exam record
- jog 5K
- finish fun book
- update goodreads
- declutter - 15 minutes
- start looking for new baby knitting project
- cards for ds + F ready for mail
- dinner: leftover kima, rice, green salad
- after dinner clean up
- update health apps
- duolingo
- other things?

TaDas!
- up; weighed self - very high -- but eating dinner at 2 restaurants in a row last night is not a good dinner plan
- coffee
- email deletions + weather website
- refill bird feeder
- purchased pac 'n play + sheets
- bought new kitchen mat
- bought new door mat
- tidy kitchen
- 10:35 basic spiff; join dd27 at dog park
- others joined us at the park
- 12:20 home again; lunch
- after lunch clean up
- payroll: started draft of IR Exam
- ordered wedding gift for J and V; forgot to mention it was from us on the gift card -- I'll message her later
- bought another set of queen sheets
- payroll: answered a sentence structure Q a student asked me re: a HW exercise

Maybe you're getting rain, like we are, kitkat? Did you get some good stuff from the farmers' market?
I resemble that comment too, Lauralind. And LOL at kitkat's comment!! SO true! Many of us share that trait.
I hope you can do something fun this evening, trissie.
I hope you're reading something good, L Ann.

That's as far back as I can go.

It’s a new recipe, Trissie. It looks pretty basic. The chicken is coated in fajita spice and it is served with rice that has a bit of the fajita spice, garlic, scallions, jalapeño, tomato and lime juice. It is served with a creamy salsa verde sauce. I am reading two books, helian. London Falling is a nonfiction about London and a young kid who created this whole secret life in the London underworld and his parents are unaware until after his death. Then I am reading Wait For Me by Amy Jo Burns which is beautifully written and compelling despite a premise that on the surface seems hokey. I am only about 75 pages into each one but they are both good. Hi KitKat!

Well that's definitely true. Sidetracked 😆 and like helian said.. post a list and do something completely different. Lol. The park with the girls sounds 😁.

I think I did some me shopping. The garage sale I splurged for my baby girl future granddaughter lol. My friend actually saved me some of the good stuff 😆. A perfect 3 to 6 month snow suit and a few perfect condition dresses. I picked up a whole box of random size clothes and a couple shirts for me. Resistant to the clutter of kitchen stuff just like I donated there.

Grocery shopping. And had to get a big bundle of flowers for mom to use up the money from auntie. Almost. Stopped at the gift shop and got a couple of plant hangers so I can hang a couple plants in the windows. I even stopped at the good women's store. Tried on a shirt but it wasn't quite right.

Now I should go outside. Some weeding. See if I can remember how to drive that mower. Ds has my wheelbarrow but dh left the old mower and trailer sitting where I can fill it . Decide if ds 16 wants to go check out the greenhouse.

Lann I thought you usually did follow that detailed list. Lol 😆. Guess I'm in the right place..

Phew. Got a bit done outside. Forgot how to start that mower so I carried one pile to it with the rake. Did a little garden claw to weed in the garden. So many tree roots from the big poplar.. raked some off the perrenial bed cause I should move some very soon. I give up. Now it's coffee time. I can lift and carry stuff at work but that's different from garden tools. A little at a time ⏲️

I gotta mop this floor if nothing else gets done. It's really bad. My coffee is ready. Should eat something. Floors and music prep.

Well...
I had a good nap:)
Sat outside with dpup for a coffee - then the T-storm came. She remained calm:)
Dson brought me Mother's day gifts:) (Books of course)
A good afternoon.

helia asked:
Rhubarbs and Asparagus (!) are the main items. A cold spring - so everything is delayed. I was happy, regardless.

Has anyone read Kathryn Stockett? Just got a book by her. (Finished Miriam Toews last night)

I have read The Help by Stockett and liked it a lot, KitKat. I have Towes’ book Fight Night on my library stack in my bedroom. Is that the one you read? I heard about it on one of the book podcasts I listen to.

I figured out my hose dilemma. I need a new one because mine leaks a lot. I got a new one but I’ve been reluctant to try to switch it out because I need to be able to water and one of my biggest problems with house tasks is hand strength. If I try tomorrow morning I can get DD39 or her husband to help me when they come by before lunch if I need to.

3-evening meds

I read her most recent one: (Toews)
A Truce That Is Not Peace

I like her writing - this one was different and unsettling...
I have others from her- yet to read...
I heard good things about Stockett so I got her
The Calamity Club
It will take a while- it is a huge volume.

Helia what are you reading?
