How can we possibly still be on page 1? (Ta Da! Page 2!!)
Dh told me earlier while we were sitting at the kitchen table that he is dismayed that he couldn't do more that what he did today.

Re: Finally Friday Conga Line PWYC
I tried several times today to get back here and pwyc, but it was not to be.
Moved into dd27's "beat of a different drummer" and just held on, lol. She only had 7 or 8 things to do today before heading out on a trip to another city for the weekend, so no problem to work in a shopping trip with me.
A more formal morning at work was going to be followed by only phone meetings, so at exactly 3 and exactly 4 I amused myself otherwise for about 15 minutes each. Not hard at a plant nursery, lol.
I found a 6-pack, which is a value that's becoming more and more rare. (I had seen a yt on the reasons for this, having to do with price-points but also an attempt to let more climates grow more variety of plants, so growing-on in greenhouses to larger pots.) Also the other color of the tuberous begonia that is doing so well for me (lady working at the nursery went on and on about hers as well, and I showed her the photo of mine, lol - who was selling to whom?), and a little true blue flower I am sure will be lost among showier ones, but will make me smile.
Dd found what seems to be a miniature periwinkle I've never seen before - I am keeping it for her here until she returns. And she found two mini garden animal statues of turtle and something else.
We picked up Asian take-out for her ddad on the way home. Ran into ds and dgdC as we drove back in, doing some work along the driveway. I think he was glad to take a break and chat.
I actually napped for 20 minutes until a call from ddolder to let us know there would not be a party for DangerBoy's birthday, since he's so old, lol. I had thought that was what was headed our way. He was starting to feel self-conscious about the traditional cake-and-presents moments.
Outside, I got 3 plants in the ground and turned the irrigation on in that bed.
Hoping LadyM's dd had a good day at new workplace.
Nancy, that sounds like a fun evening. Dinner and a show of crafts!
Glad Mystery Man is home safe, and with certifications.

Re: Finally Friday Conga Line PWYC
Changed up my plans... due to weather.
Windy and tomorrow is rain.
I have fish Friday for dinner.
There are other options for activities.
I painted a side table to go with the lawn chair I'd been wanting to do for a long while.
I got 1st coat on and turned on the fan it's dry now.
I need to paint at least one more coat on it maybe tomorrow.
It was fun.
I've rested this afternoon.
Rain in the forecast tomorrow and it's rather cooler her now.
Harriet I found some taller marigolds but they were selling a doz. at a time of them I think.
So I did not get any flowers, but I really did enjoy looking the the flowers.
I did get a new hoe & 4 prongs rake like tool both with out wood handles.
