Re: Sunny sizzling Sunday
A quick trip to next town BBQ place resulted in ready-to-eat tub being better stocked. A pound of pulled pork, lb of pork belly and several smoked cheddar jalapeno sausages are cooling before I put them in the refrigerator. I'm not sure it will last more than a day or so, but at least I have a running start on food prep for the week.

Re: Sunny sizzling Sunday
Dh and I watched the Blue Jays beat the Detroit team! Dh said that our weed whacking guy texted him that he would be here tomorrow. Guess who showed up here a few moments ago... the weed whacker guy. I was planning on BBQing the burgers. Oh, well... I'll have to do them no matter what and dh and I are both hungry.
Dh got the first of two air conditioners set up. He put in the one for the bedroom. It's currently 30C here and it's windy. We did actually have some windows open before he did that.

Vague message from WMart that my pots are delayed. No stab at predicting when they would show up. If they're just a little delayed, I'd like to know, and I would just put other things on the PODA ahead. But if there isn't much chance I'll get them soon, I'd like to cancel. Sigh.
Did get to enjoy the service at regular destination online, but haven't yet had a chance to try out the hopefully recorded one.
Ddolder and the boys all came by and picked up the plant for dd27. They were on their way to seeing her and seeing dsonil. A very short visit here. The boys were dismayed by handling a plant, but dgsC promised to take care of it for me on the trip, and he's pretty reliable with living things, lol.
We switched things up and had the skillet meal at lunch, because HRH was sorta starving for it, lol. He heaped his plate high. Very good.
I've made a quilting template and it is being pressed overnight with Elmer, under an assortment of weighty things in the sewing room, lol.
We're half-way through the new net flix movie with Sally Field and Colm Meaney, Remarkably Bright Creatures, and will probably stay up to finish it tonight. So far, I like it a lot, HRH thinks it is slow-moving, which is a little ironic, when you consider one of the stars is in a tank.
