I'm recycling a quote because I like it so much, be sure to stop for reflective thinking as you work today!"Reflection requires stillness.
One cost of rushing from thing to thing is that you lose the space to think. Hard work matters, but nonstop motion often hides a quiet truth: you could have used your time better.
If you never pause, you confuse activity with effectiveness. Make time to think. Walk outside. Sit quietly. Create space. Then move again, but this time on purpose."

Re: Thinking Thursday PWYC
Hi! Thank you for such a thoughtful start Twins' Mom!!
Compost, 2 large bags of garbage and the recycling has been taken to the road. I also remembered the bag of clean meat trays that was in the freezer.
I have had my hot tea and dh has had his coffee.
I'm planning on leaving around 9 to go spend most of the day with my friend who loves to go to malls. The unfortunate thing is that it's always the same darn mall and they (she) loves to get Greek food from the food court. They have to restaurants in this 2 story mall, but they (she) wants the exact same meal and the exact same mall every time. Oh well... I look at it as respite time.
Dh is planning on having sausages for supper. I will be home in time to cook them.

I just finished reading the work book by that author.
I've made out my threes of tasks for today.
Alternating with out side and inside items.

Sunny & mild temps here will make mowing in front & side yard a joy later on.

Good morning!
Twins - Thank you for the start and sharing that quote. I suspect that is why the 45 minute work 15 minute reset works well for me. I learned to do from the old SHE board. #GoodMemories
I delivered DD14 to her very last day of Junior High School. After today she will officially be in High School (10th grade). Although, there isn't a physical change in location because all of the top 6 grades (7th - 12th) classrooms are intermingled in the same building. Same principal. Same teachers. #SmallSchoolWays
Alarm is set to pick her up at 12:45 today because school lets out early.
I just had the pleasure of turning the 4 school alarms off for the summer. YES, please and thank you!
DH has selected Creedence Clearwater Revival for the music of the day. I love to see his memory shine when music is played.
Next up -
** discuss with DH about RMD and email financial advisory our decision
** clean bathrooms
** make drinks for the day

Re: Thinking Thursday PWYC
Good morning! I have not done much yet today besides my morning routine. I’ve eaten breakfast and watched Colbert. I need to clean up my breakfast and hit the treadmill, but I don’t want to get up out of my chair, so I came here to sit in the SHE clubhouse, as it were. I think I need to do 45/15s today; whether I’ll peek in during those 15s, I don’t know.
Thanks for opening us up, Twins! Maybe those 15s will work well for reflection. Oh! I see, scrolling down, that LadyM has said much the same!
Enjoy your day out, Cathy! If it’s a food court, can you get something you like from one of the other restaurants and just eat together? Or are the eating areas separate?
Glad you’re having better weather for your work, Nancy!
So, what can I accomplish in the next :45? If I don’t dilly-dally, I should be able to clean up my breakfast, hit the treadmill for a few minutes, start a wash going, and fold yesterday’s wash, which is sitting in the dryer. I will see in :45 if that’s too ambitious. Have a great day!

Re: Thinking Thursday PWYC
A rainy day - probably not all day but we're getting a consistent light rain right now. Good to soak the soil outside. We've been in a drought.
Dcleaning lady is doing her magic. I've done my part,
I have a Zoom meeting - 11-12 and then workout at two. Not sure what we'll do for our supper. I just ordered a sub platter to pick up after funeral (on the way back to their house, actually.)
Just finished my omelet and need to walk the dog and write ck for dcleaning oady

Good morning. I am sitting holding my grandcat for a snuggle. Need to leave in a moment for my chiro appt. Went and had breakfast with ladies. Must rush home for hot water heater installer to come.
Then to do bills. My OS and his partner sent me belated flowers for my birthday and mother's day since I was out of country for both. Very sweet.

Those done.
Also prepared DH his first meal of fruit, cheese & yogurt. DS17 has already called me 4 times this morning.
>>>totally skippable boot chatter<<<
DS17 employer won't let him work with boots that are coming apart so they gave him the company cc and told him to go buy him a pair of boots. DS17 informed them that wasn't possible because no one around here carries his boot size (15) so they have to be ordered...which they are. The office lady called around the farm stores and found a pair of rubber muck boots in DS17 size. They sent DS17 to get them to wear until his replacement safety boots arrive.
Next up -
** get DD14 from school in 15 minutes. She just called and is ready to leave. Nothing is happening.
** take DD14 to get a treat to celebrate end of school year
** make hard boiled eggs to use in deviled egg platter
