bw2, sorry your mom is having a not great day for her significant birthday.

I took while to get going but then kept working a bit when the timer went off. Going to 11:30 and then trying again. Hopefully will accomplish more next time. I did get bed made and the breakfast room table cleared - I had photos there that I meant to take yesterday, and sheets that needed to be folded from Thursday. Another load of laundry to hang up was started. I still don't have my laundry room hangar thing up again - I know I saw a text that Home Depot had sent it?

Ugh. Forgot to post this earlier. I decided to keep timer running but go upstairs to make the graduation card that dh requested, i.e. do something I wanted to do. While up there, dfriend M called to catch up - she drove by the house and saw the new car so we had an extended conversation while she was driving.

So I'm back, timer is starting again at one, to go to TOTH.

Hi, there! My situation is that I’m riding in the car on my way to play games with friends. They are having a Memorial Day picnic today, so nobody has to worry about going to work in the morning. We have to go to church, but we are in the distinct minority, if not the only ones. I actually remembered to make something to bring along — caprese skewers. Grape tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, and basil. Easy to make, easy to eat.

(((blessed and mom))) I hope she’s feeling better later to enjoy at least some of her birthday.

Twins, I’m sorry you don’t have more recovery time. Doing what you like sounds like a good idea.

Gallon ziplocs sounds like a great idea, LadyM! You can see what’s in them.

And I’ve got to cut this short because we’re almost at our destination. Have a great day, everybody!

Mystery - How fun! Good friends, games and food sounds like a perfect combination.

I have completely processed 4 categories of 2025 papers which astounds me. I didn't know that was possible. I am looking at the final 3 categories that are left to do but have hit a wall. I'm done with papers for the day.

I changed the way I track our RTBE (Ready to be eaten) food that is in the refrigerator. I want to know exactly how long each food item has been in refrigerator to insure it get tossed or eaten in a timely manner.

Bedding is out of the dryer and the two beds are made with fresh sheets.

The mockingbird parents are becoming even more aggressive! I was on the opposite side of the garden, approx 30' from the nest location and the parents still attacked me. I am not going to get within 10' of the nest but I refuse to give up my garden time for the next week while waiting for the baby birds to fly. I won't harm the parents but need to find a way they will stop thinking that dive bombing me is a good idea. I am going to turn the battery powered leaf blower on to make noise and carry it with me. Dear Mockingbird parents......We have to find a way to co-exist.

I didn't realize how much HOA work I needed to do. I knew I needed to print two checks. I have everything entered for May and reconciled to now. And a balance sheet and income statement for the annual meeting that is on 1 June, either the day before I return or the day I return home.

Still have a very long list downstairs.
