I planted some sunflower seeds after prepping an area.
Watered that area and some beds.
Had lunch.
Cleaned a few more seeds off the roof by the patio they are nearly all off now yea!
Read a bit did a bit of writing.
Got a nap in.
Cooking cauliflower & boiling eggs for fake potato salad decided it's time for me to learn how to make that.
It passed the taste test! Yea!
Got two wagons unloaded.
One more wheeled tote to unload it will wait.
The basket was grey that I put on the back fence.

Re: Sunday Sharing, Speaking Up, Telling our Stories
While the baseball game was on I did some stuff. (putting away laundry, turning machines on and off,,.)
Dh and I also called DMIL at hospital. We could barely hear her. Apparently she can't get a TV as they told her that so many people have tablets or cell phones now, so TV's aren't readily available. It used to be one of the first people to come see you in your room. "Do you want a TV?" DMIL must be so bored. She watches a LOT of television.
Now I have a cup of hot tea in front of me. DSIL will text me when they find out about the CT scan.
I'm doing my best to NOT go into the bedroom. Dh has called a couple of times asking if I will be joining him. "NO, THANK YOU!!"

Checked into hotel near Cincinnati. Considering going back home tomorrow, sleeping on a decision. I’m not sure I’m excited about being there. I am feeling low and over tired. Driving was not fun today, even w a new car.

Re: Sunday Sharing, Speaking Up, Telling our Stories
Perhaps because it was rainy, we had a slow and leisurely day. Laundry of drip-dries will hopefully be nearly finished overnight.
A real downpour had me stepping outside to appreciate it, see if there was anything I could do that was smart. Not much. I rescued a toad from a bowl of water at our spigot that seemed to have it trapped. (used a tool handle to upend - no, I did not pick up the toad)
Twins', when the plans that seemed important before are less important now, we can simply change our minds. I have a feeling you will wake in the morning with a good decision, and wise reasoning about it.
LadyM, you have been on my mind through the day several times. I hope the two of you had calmer, more confident times later in the day.
Hoping blessed's dmother was able yesterday to appreciate her birthday and feel well. And maybe today was a good day.

Re: Sunday Sharing, Speaking Up, Telling our Stories
Just lost a LONG post!
Nothing very important.
After church and lunch, I slept for a long time this afternoon. I felt a little off balance all morning, just a slight case of vertigo. DGS let me sleep and then we ate supper at home (frozen pizza. He ate the whole thing by himself! I had two slices left over from a couple days ago and I ate that.)
I finally made out a Wmart order so I can re-stock for the rest of the week.
DGS is staying tonight because next Monday he will start football practice and his M/T/W mornings will be taken.
I cleaned off my night stand last night, but it's hard to tell. I have a HUGE stack of magazines and -- I'm embarrassed to tell y'all, but I just counted -- 32 books on the nightstand and propped up on the floor beside it. THIRTY-TWO books in various stages of read and to-be-read. SMH. I've got to get a grip on this. I have made myself a "resolution" to read at least two chapters a day.
(((LadyM))) I am praying LordM * and YOU * have a better day tomorrow.
Also praying for your dmil, Cathy.
I hope you have a good trip, Twins. I always admire you so much when you take these trips alone. What kind of car did you get?
Do any of you have big plans for tomorrow? I do not. I suspect dcousins are getting together at the home of the one with a swimming pool, but I also suspect the weather will prevent swimming. I don't mind that I haven't talked to any of them. I told ds I am taking the day off (from grands) I have had a child with me five out of the last six nights. It is time for me to have some time alone.
I know Memorial Day isn't really supposed to be just a big happy kind of celebration, and it does make me stop and think, because, y'all know... OG died in uniform but it was never acknowledged. So I do have him on my mind on days like this. At the end of my road, there is an American Legion post. They have put out white crosses for every person in our county who has died in wars. I wish they had one for those who are not accounted for. My dgrand mother on my mother's side was dating a boy before she met my grandfather. He (the first boyfriend) was presumed dead when the plane he was in crashed at sea during WWII. I don't know if he is recognized on one of the crosses. My dad has an uncle who is recognized on one of those crosses -- he was killed in WWII while his wife was pregnant with their only child. He died without ever seeing his daughter.
Well, since I've probably said enough to depress everyone, I guess I'll sign off. Hope you all have a good day tomorrow. (Yes, I know... it's 2:00 a.m. It already IS tomorrow. LOL.
