Dogged I honestly did not understand where I would have lost my (favourite) workout clothes... Sometimes we get lucky...
Bama It is stressful but it is a good idea to have another person with the patient... for many reasons- as an advocate, to provide info and try to retain info:)... When I needed a second person, DH has not been very useful... but, DD is. Can't complain.

OK:
made it to Costco. Bought some lovely plants at acceptable prices. Tolerated some (VERY) rude people... got some other supplies, managed to load/unload by myself. Displayed the pretty plants in front and back.
Made lunch for us. (I was starving.)

Getting ready to go to WF for my cake supplies for tomorrow.

Checked status of delivery: ETA has changed to today
Up and dressed to receive delivery
Gave Germane her heart pill.
Put on a pot of coffee
Dumped the soapy water that the big slow cooker was soaking in and gave it new hot soapy water
Put away dry laundry
Scrubbed out big slow cooker
Started folding laundry
Fed Germane her “casserole”
Treats for dog
Wiped down accessible surfaces
Searched for the source of the mildew smell in the kitchen
Dumped freezer container of scraps for broth
Set up big slow cooker
Lay down for a while
Checked status of delivery after their deadline had passed: yet again they have changed the ETA to “End of day” whenever that is
Signed up for FedEx Delivery Manager as an act of desperation. It did not help.
Checked for parcel in lobby and at my door and mail room.
Called FedEx to put in a complaint.
The agent sent a message to the depot and my parcel was delivered so soon after that it was breathtaking.
Brought parcel into entryway.
Filled slow cooker for dog: turkey drumsticks, savoy cabbage, carrots and potatoes
Filled a small casserole dish for microwave: potatoes and onions
Baked salmon for Germane and a couple of pieces of mixed seafood and spring rolls for me
Watched The Walrus Talks about accessibility
Opened box: no damage
Found the quick start guide: all parts present

Next Up: Dress to go out, settle dog, organize a craft for the s&b and head out.

I have successfully located all ingredients for tomorrow's cake. Had to call another store, but it's done.

Arranged small pots of purple Campanulas and Lavenders on my front porch. Looks cute with the 2 pots of purple and white pansies:)
Made a quick snack for me as I was starving.
I was going to take pup out but she is fast asleep on her bed.

I had a wonderful time catching up on things with my bff. She actually works quite near my home, so we have made plans to meet for coffee at her workplace more often.
Then I went on to my other bff's Stich N Bitch, where I met new friends and had a great time as well.

I came home to find that Germane has been a good girl, using her pee pads and sleeping quietly. I am mostly done for the day. I may play with chair parts a little.

Fed Germane: today’s casserole is a bed of turkey flavoured potatoes and root vegetables, layers of dog food and salmon, topped with probiotic. Chef’s kiss!

Spot cleaned the kitchen floor, as Germane’s preferred dining style is to wander around with food dropping out of her mouth
Rescued the second rice cooker from the dw that I never got around to running. I need it to cook white rice for Germane, as the other is full of the grains mix for me.
Put it in to soak
Reloaded the dw
Scrubbed out rice cooker
Put more dishes in to soak
Cleaned up after dog

Hi all. Well I guess I never got back here . It was a good day. Mine for once... got ds to school. Finished the kitchen. Then decided to do groceries before the physio. Forgot a couple things and there's just other stuff that I need from the other store. Did the appointment and the other store. Home to put it all away. Sat down to eat something and chatting with dd on the phone for a while. She's doing pretty well it seems.

At the end of the call I got a text. Casper was up at the neighbors. Broke his lead apparently.. I tracked him down and hooked him up on his lead inside with a bone and ran to the store to pick up a new one. I have never left him in the house unsupervised... he was fine. All fixed again but he got a good run...

And then I put my seeds in the garden and went to buy my flowers. Oops I might have got too many maybe.

In all a productive day. Except maybe I spent a lot... lots of one time things.
