"Speak in complete sentences" Sunny Spring Sunday

Post by CathyS »

Today is National "Speak in complete sentences" Day. I have also read that "No." is a complete sentence.

What are you doing today. From the looks of things Twins' Mom might be driving a lot today and LucyLee might be trying to involve her DGD in some routine things. Others will be found in their gardens.

Share what you plan on doing on this sunny spring Sunday.

I have a lot that I would like to get done today.

Litter boxes to be deep cleaned.
Dishes.
Sweeping the bedroom.
Shower for myself. I don't know if dh needs one.

Hmmm... are complete sentences required when writing lists? For some reason, I think lists get a pass because they are written, not spoken.

Later...

I spent some time outside. It is so sunny and there is no wind. I pulled some weeds.

Dh had his coffee and his water pill.

Cats had their morning treat, went outside at 7 and came in just before 9 and now they are having their weekly nip.

Good morning

Cathy - Thank you for getting PWYC started today.

Happy Birthday Harriet!

A week ago today my little world was turned upside down with 911 in our home assisting me with DH memory loss episode. Today is completely opposite that experience and we are having a quiet, calm start to our day. #Thankful

Project for the day = getting journal template & spreadsheets set up for the month of June.

Happy Birthday Harriet!!

Dh is sleeping, so I am doing quiet stuff.

Later...

I did some more weeding.
All 3 cats are peacefully sleeping. Two of them are in the bedroom with dh.
I have had a nice long shower. and now I smell like lavender.

Dishes are being rinsed in the sink. I need to empty the dishwasher so I can call that job done.

Happy birthday Harriet🎁🌻🎉

Was up early and took care of puppy needs

One load of laundry done, kitchen reclaimed, bed stripped and remade, pills refilled for the week, dishwasher emptied and my dinning room table is now cleared.

Sweeties dr appointment was great and I no longer have to chart his BS and BP. I had all the medical equipped on the dinning room table so I’m glad to have it cleared

The puppies have been running around and playing with each other for the last hour. Lots of chaos but the play insures that Amelia will be tired enough to nap. I put a halter on her today so she learning how to deal with it. As little as she is, she can now run like the wind, and already she ran out into the road once. thankfully, my road is very quiet so I can’t let that happen again. I have a feeling she’s not gonna like the leash

I need to make a quick grocery run because I want to make chicken and rice for dinner tonight and I need some broccoli. Other than that. My day is open.

The mosquitoes are absolutely horrible around here and they’re swarming in the early morning and and evening. They’re even bad during the day. I’m wearing long pants that are hiking pants so they’re very lightweight and a long sleeve sun shirt, which is also very light. I feel like I’m getting dressed for snow. This morning when I was walking, I ran across a man who was dressed the same way, but had a towel that he was swinging back-and-forth in front of his face to keep the mosquitoes off of him.

Amelia just laid down next to me and is trying to sleep that means nap time so I’m off
