Ta Da Tuesday PWYC

Post by Twins' Mom »

I'm stuck with the Tuesday ta da these for today because I feel like I have so much still to do. Yesterday was productive, but crazy. What are you looking forward to accomplishing today?

Thank you for starting us off this morning Twins' Mom!

I have a LOT to tackle today. While we were having our hot beverages dh said he was going to try to keep up with me today. I tried to suppress the giggle that snuck out. Right now he is making his own breakfast.

Empty dish rack
Empty Dishwasher
Take out bathroom garbage
Take out kitchen garbage
Litter boxes deep clean -bedroom, library and pantry

maybe go to dollar store (not important)
Dishes never stop.
Laundry never stops.
Litter boxes never stop.
Paper never stops.

One of the things I need to do is to relax some!

The meeting went well last night, I'm always afraid of questions I can't answer or somehow being challenged but all was well.

Yesterday was entirely hit or miss. I did what most needed to be done I guess and got through.

This was unposted from late afternoon yesterday:
I'm still feeling "hair on fire," doing the most important things to try to catch up.

Some things that have happened:
-unpacked bag and put it away
-printed financial info for meeting tonight
-printer troubleshooting
-finally hung up the laundry from washer, which sent dh into trying to locate the missing bracket, then a search for his special yellow ratchet set, and finally, after many detours, the bar in the laundry room is back for drying.

This morning I've
-walked ddog two laps
-unpacked crafty things for stamping and put on steps to go upstairs
-up at 6 a.m. and have been lollygagging - catching up on blogs that I read and piddling
-started a load of laundry

I need to go to the temple cemetery today but not sure I'll make it.

Nothing on the calendar for today, and dh is seeing dcousins tonight about the recently deceased cousin's investment account so no cooking dinner and some quiet time into the early evening.

Morning y’all…

Up early to walk Coco and take Emilia out to piddle and poop. I finally found a halter to fit her and it is a learning curve. However she is walking well on the leash.

This is important around here as we live on a lake… there are many in our community… so we have plenty of osprey's, owls and eagles who would are capable os swooping down and making Amelia a snack.

Morning routines done. Footprints removed last night. Justina will be here today and I have several errands to run.

I have Sweeties puzzle set up and Justina is good at getting Sweetie to do things he sometimes resists to do with me.

Waving back madly, bw2! missing you!

I'm continuing on my meandering path today.

Some ta das:
-first load of laundry hung to dry, second is in dryer, third is going
-cleaned up kitchen island of debris, wiped down
-cut stems on flowers on counter and put the best into smaller containers
-got receipts for reimbursement from mailbox
-added stuff to garbage can on the street
-talked to backflow device inspector who is checking all of the sprinkler systems in the neighborhood, ours passed of course
-straightened up bathroom, put away travel stuff-
-deadheaded geraniums - so much rain last week and the azaleas, which need to be trimmed up, are not giving them enough breathing room

My back is really out of sorts today.

Very oddly, I was up at six this a.m. I was wide awake and needed to use the bathroom and stayed up. Trying not to nap, that will make it easier to sleep tonight.

I'm going to work on cleaning up the stamping desk so I can exercise some creativity...

I've been out to the gardens to pull some weeds in the raised beds twice today.

Bathroom and kitchen garbage have been taken out.

Dish rack is empty.

PSW has come and gone.

It's another beautiful day here. Very little wind, very few clouds.

I called small local hospital to find out when dh's echo is.

Good mornternoon! Did not have to say that to DC, who got themself up this morning. They are now watching a Youtube video of a comedian(?) they like. This fellow specializes in finding the silliest stuff he can on the internet and sometimes trying it himself. Today, he has amassed a bunch of "recipes" that people have said they dreamed of, and he's making some of them. He started out with a jacket (two clear rain ponchos taped together) filled with bubble tea. (Fortunately, he didn't fill the whole thing, just one potful.) And he's making things from scratch that he doesn't need to. It is very, very silly. I do not do it justice.

No real ta-das yet today, except I managed a little longer than usual on the treadmill after breakfast, so yay me! Spent a fair bit of time texting. Dfriend K is driving to the outskirts of NYC for a work retreat (she's remote; the bulk of her co-workers work in NYC, hence the location of the retreat). She figured driving would be less hassle than flying. Well, her car picked up a nail as she was driving, so she had to wait an hour for help and then another hour for a repair. She texted to the moms' group, and we were all encouraging her and sympathizing. Poor thing.

How is your DH keeping up, Cathy?

I think you deserve a relaxing day, Twins! Maybe some relaxation will help that back.

Glad the dog walking is going well, Rose. I hope Sweetie enjoys his puzzle.

Waving back to blessed! Have a great day yourself!

You're cooking with gas, Nancy!

I should apply some BGS. It's lunchtime, but I'd like to get the wash going first and get yesterday's wash folded. Have a great day!
