Morning…
Pups walked and fed… same for Sweetie. He walked too.
Morning routines done. Footprints and kitchen done last night.
Justina comes today… normally I go to drumming but I have a headach so I will just head to the library and chill.
I have a monthly call from GUIDE which is a Medicare program which calls to see how we both are doing. Then later I have my yearly aMRA to check my aneurysm

Hi everyone!
Compost, garbage and recycling have been taken to the end of the driveway. I even remembered to take the bag full of meat trays our of the freezer to put into one of the garbage bags.
PSW should be here before noon.
I am recovering from overdoing the walking yesterday. My hips are both equally sore. I slept well last night.

Good Morning Ladies!
I've been up a while but it was good for me and productive.
I have cooked breakfast and some for meals ahead is cooling, to go in the fridge / freezer later on.
I remember when I was a girl I'd be with gram and help her clean and then we went and did something fun
like a rummage sale!
I have a plan full of dishes to do up.
Need to get in the shower.
Glad for good sleep last night.
I think I can do 2-3 min. rounds and it's amazing what can be done like I spiffed up my p/c desk!
I have the table to deal with next then the books on the other surface in the liv. room.

Good morning
Twins - your discovery of cemetery records (or lack thereof) brought back memories when I worked and we started using GIS to map the federal cemeteries. We started this project with high expectations of it being super easy to accomplish. It didn't take long to discover a travesty. The decades-old paper records were shockingly poor in condition and accuracy.

Nancy - YGG! That is one of my favorite ways to get quickly things done. Daily 3 minutes PUPA and cleaning keep most areas looking good, smelling clean, and doesn't feel overwhelming. I'm currently doing a monthly challenge that I call "The purple bucket". Each day I put hot soapy water in a purple bucket and take it with me from room to room. It is quick & easy way to wipe down surfaces as I spend 3 minutes in a room. I tried using a spray bottle & rag but discovered that took more time than having bucket with soapy water available.I can do 2-3 min. rounds and it's amazing what can be done

Good morning
Gasoline purchased.
Groceries are in and put away.
Ds came and did some work outside yesterday, then came back with ddil and dgdC for a while.
The Thriving 3 can each be answered "partially", I think.
Personal Growth: Continuously developing skills, self-awareness, and resilience in the face of challenges.
Coming closest on this one, however I admit to developing skills on tangents, perhaps, more than anything else.
Well-being: Maintaining a healthy balance across physical, mental, and emotional states.
Getting there! (But really, that's a lot.)
Engagement: Having a clear sense of purpose and being meaningfully connected to your work or community.
I do as far as my family, which does extend quite a ways. Not as much world engagement as I'd hope (getting there).
Glad the gas and groceries are done. Trip to appt tomorrow for first of the new treatments, which is a breathing treatment and not supposed to cause any effects.
After that appt, which may hold some info, I will RSVP to my late dh's niece about my dfirstbil's anniversary party. HRH is pretty much convinced I shouldn't try it - quite a crowd in a limited space, we understand. To be held at their church's fellowship hall, and dbil's preached there before, so HRH expects an elbow-jostling event.
Cleaning continues in Entry, decluttering in Bedrooms. I need to post some of that progress.

Re: Thriving Thursday PWYC
Preparing to thrive... I just had a nap. I haven't done anything else today since my last post. All litter boxes got done this morning before the compost container went out the the street.
I am making cheeseburgers for supper. I will have to go to the store to get potato salad. Maybe coleslaw.

Re: Thriving Thursday PWYC
Good afternoon!
Don't know about thriving, but I'm doing better than not. A bit behind where I'd like to be on tasks. I had two things to do this morning outside of the usual. First, I had to thin the sprouts I never got to yesterday (more on that later), then I had to send a message to the cardiologist. I got a call yesterday rescheduling my appointment that had already been rescheduled to a month later. My meds will not stretch that far, so I had to send a message asking for refills. While I was upstairs, I roused DC -- it's supposed to get hot again tomorrow, and I want the kids to bring the a/c up from the basement. Ideally, I'd like them also to wipe it down, clean the filter, and do whatever else is needed before DH installs it. (In my dreams, I'd have a window seat under the window it goes in that I could use to store it the rest of the year, but for now, it needs to be hauled up and hauled down.) Anyhow, two hours later, DC still has not shown their face downstairs. I guess I will rouse them once more between finishing up here & starting lunch.
No plans for out of the house today, although I didn't have anything yesterday, either, and wound up on a much bigger excursion than intended. I dragged my butt into dragging DC's butt to do some driving practice, but they wanted to go somewhere. I vetoed the Chinese bakery (two locations, neither of which is anywhere near convenient to us) and agreed to the thrift store. Actually, two thrift stores, which are down the street from one another. I was bored and tired about 30 to 45 minutes into the first thrift store. At the second thrift store, I decided to stay in the car but ended up going in when I got a text from DD (who had come along) that she found a bread machine. We've been looking for one. Anyhow, rather than half an hour around the neighborhood, I was gone from home for about 3 hours total.
Hence not getting the sprouts thinned yesterday. Hopefully, nothing like that will happen today.
Have a great day, everybody!

The crockpot is filled to the top with meat & potatoes. it won't be ready in time for lunch, so I've asked DS17 to stop on his lunch hour and bring home 4 meals from local BBQ place. The crockpot food will take care of what's for dinner, so my need to cook today shifts from "need to" into the "if I want to" category.
DS53 has arraigned for a conference call this afternoon with financial advisory that he uses. I've told DS53 our preferences and asked him to take the lead in ensuring it happens. Our long-time financial advisory is not endearing himself with us and is now doing financial transactions that he has been told we don't want to happen. It is time for a change.
