Fabulous Conga Friday PWYC

Post by Twins' Mom »

Grab your fruity Carmen Miranda style headgear and jump into the conga line of things happening today! Whether you're conga-ing around the house or town, give your hips a little extra swish along the way. The line forms here, and the music is starting up!

Thanks for opening us up, Twins! Running through and waving on my way to get the dental implant for real, so that's where my conga is going. I may post from the waiting room if there's time. Have a great day!

Hi everyone!!

I've already been to the bank and now I'm home. It's going to be a hot one but rain is expected.

Good morning

(((Mystery)))) I hope the time in the chair is as painless as possible and you have great results.

We have a prescription to pick up so I'll piggyback other things onto that trip to the city. It will also be a restock the pantry/freezer type shopping trip. Sam is out of dog food so that will be an 80lb purchase. DH enjoys lifting heavy things so it will fit right in with what he considers to be enjoyable.

Today is DBro73 birthday. I am thankful for every day that we get to drive each other crazy (in a good way).

I've been busy already but I'm not feeling very organized. So far, dog is walked, I did an instacart order, wrote the cemetery board report for the annual meeting (due today  ) and have made a DPC. There is another DPC I need to make, and assorted other stuff that I'd like to get done today but those last two were the most important.

I think I'm going to try for five tasks...a mix of routines and other need to do stuff. Perhaps if I feel ambitious I'll go for 45 minutes of work next time.

Three things:
-Refill meds containers (that gets meds off the kitchen counter)
-Spend 10 minutes sorting cemetery papers I received from prior chair
-hang up laundry from washer
-eat my brunch
-clear and wipe down the perimeter kitchen counter where the meds are and where dh just dropped more stuff.

Been recovering from a migraine… thankfully I haven’t had one in a long time… and just received a text from one of my besties she’s has hospice coming to her home and has 3-6 weeks to live. She lives in Utah. I’ve known her Since we were freshmen in HS.

Sort of took the wind out of my sails for the day.

Eating my brunch and still haven't hung up that laundry so I'm just starting a new round. Dh is home and we're talking too and I'm distracted. Some of the cemetery paperwork I need to figure out because some is undated - but if it indicates who died recently I can figure it out. I'm also minding the Instacart messages.

Next five:
-hang up laundry
-fold laundry from dryer
-clear and wipe down kitchen island counters
-move the dog and make the bed
-head upstairs for some desk work

I'm showering later before we go to temple tonight.

Oh my, RR. I'm so very sorry. That's not good.
