Working up yet another prayer shawl with 3-4" deep teal main color and 1" accents of lighter
pastel colors and white this is a fun one to work on it's about 12" in length currently.
It's over half way done.
I have enough yarn for one more.
Nancy, I couldn't resist putting a few funny little cartoons into monthly threads. This one made me smile to see fabric-arts supplies in the same container as sketching, painting. Oops, there's paint left on the brush and its right above the thread, lol.
Oh, I love teal for a main color - looks rich, I think.
I have serious progress to report in that I'm now sitting on a better chair in my office/sewing studio space. In order to feel good about rolling it in here, I've done a big declutter and cleaning push. So, the lower part of the "visual" in here is straightened up and very easy on the eyes. I won't brag on higher surfaces that are sort of still cluttered. But there is more hope for them, lol, since other areas are neat.
A small ladderback chair is gone - why was it in here anyway, just taking up room? And a short plastic chest-of-drawers with 3 clear drawers has been positioned in a much smarter way, up off the floor and on top of another larger one for some vertical storage. So, just those 2 better decisions have probably given me 6 square feet of more floor space plus not having to walk around them. It's much easier to move around in here now.
Still some problems with things in here that you have to wonder - why are they here? There's a chest of nostalgic things, which are fine to keep, even valuable maybe, I don't know. But if they don't have anything to do with a studio I could work in, or even a desk/office space I need, why are they here? So, I do have more decisions to make.
