Trissie, if I knew in advance, then of course there would be some lemon and.atrawbeerry cheesecake.for you. :D But if it's just the two of us, then I usually scale down dessert recipes, so we're not eating it up all week!

Bama, could you allocate each adult in the hoise.who is physically capable,.an evening when they're responsible for cooking?

L.Ann, Build a Bear sounds great fun for Little Bit's birthday..

I'm in bed now. I need to post my list for the week, as this way I get off to a much better start on Monday! Night night, everyone!

Hi all. I know I'm late to the game today. Church was really good this morning but it made for a busy morning making my salad and getting ready for music. I am so grateful to have such a talented and true leader that has joined us this last 9 months or so. He's so good. And a real teacher so I can learn under him instead of leading with my simplified skills. I can enjoy music again. Lunch was wonderful.

I'm kinda sad too trissie. I think my flowers are going to be beautiful. But the frost I fight with and my cats I am getting really disappointed with my veggies too. I think I'll replant the carrots and beans with something over it to keep the seeds intact. The tomatoes are super droopy... frost mostly. Need to get some fertilizer and I think Epsom salt see if I can give them a boost. Between that and ds trouble and some other stuff I am a little down again.

After lunch I had a rest for a bit and some music and did a little tidying. Put away some permanent clutter in the entry and kitchen etc. Almost didn't feel like going to see mom but I did. I'm glad I went she was having a good day.

Ds was going to make supper. He did but I got home and found his chicken still waiting to go in the oven. I gotta get up now and put some fries in the oven. And keep tidying a little. My whole house has permanent stuff that never gets put away.

Oh well enough whine I don't enjoy it anyway.. do something about it.

Hello, all. I had a wonderful time at the concert. This is an amateur neighbourhood concert band that people play in because they enjoy it, and then they offer low cost or free concerts for people like me. :D

I haven't contributed much to improving my space today; tomorrow that will have to be my focus. Lauralind, I can relate to the stubborn mess that seems to be our permanent companion, but in my case it's all my own doing. Oh, well, the day's not over yet. I can still get some things done.

Sunday
Cleaned up after dog
Fed dog
Picked clothes
Water and kibble for dog
Cooked some basa for Germane
Showered/washed hair
Concert
Went to butcher for local eggs
Went to grocery store for salmon for Germane and yoghurt for me. Got both, and two indulgences: turkey legs for Germane and neapolitan ice cream sandwiches for me.
Brought everything up
Rearranged freezer twice and somehow fit all of the frozen food in, don’t ask me how
Treats for Germane
Cleaned up after her
Took a nap
Washed some dishes
Cooked salmon for Germane

Doggedly ds sometimes has cups etc around. Dh is very tidy. All the rest of it is my doing as well. Kitchen gets half done at night and the rest in the morning. I leave stuff everywhere and ignore.. like that yard stick still laying on the rug from a month ago or more...

I do not know how to put stuff away. Dh famous saying. If you don't want to clean then just don't make a mess... and then I promptly catch my han on the cabinet and dump three quarters of the coffee grounds and the filter on the floor instead of in the garbage. That's just me. I learned it from my dad which I only noticed now from cleaning up his house 🏠

Only I'm pretty much done for this day.

I do that too, Lauralind. There have literally been days where I would have been further ahead if I had just stayed in bed that day. So nice to know that I'm not alone.
