Dogged, I hope your joints are warming up steadily.
Kittykatt, reading about your gardening is very relaxing.
I’m trying to get dh in the right headspace for when he retires. It’s not going to be all history shows, served meals in bed and chauffeured around.

Done:
Pets fed, some litter scooped, hot spots on floors cleaned up, pee pad added to foyer box
Brush: Toby, Jeremy
Meds: Tux, Little Man, me
Dh fed and given things to do (work on his room, polish kitchen cabinets I can’t reach)
Weighed
Breakfast
Dusted
Kitchen - unload dw, decide what’s for dinner and prep (beef patties in gravy if they thaw in time, creamed potatoes, peas and carrots)
Dinner cooking
Finish litter boxes
Vacuum
Laundry - put away pet blanket and towel, put my clothes in dryer
Polished bottom cabinets in kitchen, both bathrooms, and wood pieces in living room and foyer
Bible
Paper - planner, log medical dates and distances, emails, list out the weeklies/monthlies for June, take body measurements
Exercises
Eat a snack

Do:
Meds: dogs
Trim dog nails if they cooperate
Mani pedi for me
Finish cooking
Water plants inside and on porch
Feed outside animals
Walk dogs

I can't hear you, helia. I'm hiding from the furries in my couch cushion fort.

Thanks, Bama. By this time of day, my joints are in working order, and any delays in housekeeping are down to moral failures, LOL.
If that is how your DH pictures his retirement, then I am sure that he has plans to hire a maid, a cook and chauffeur so that you can also retire, right?

Germane is now awake, so it's a good time to take her out for a carry.

lol Dogged, we have an invasion of furries here too. Shedding season seems year round.
I made the comment that it must be nice to have someone pick the slack when you can’t (or won’t) do something and he replied he wouldn’t know. So now I’m plotting his (fill in the blank). Supper will be very quiet.

Done:
Pets fed, some litter scooped, hot spots on floors cleaned up, pee pad added to foyer box
Brush: Toby, Jeremy
Meds: Tux, Little Man, me, flea meds on George
Trim dogs’ front paws without much difficulty
Dh fed and given things to do (work on his room, polish kitchen cabinets I can’t reach)
Weighed
Breakfast
Dusted
Kitchen - unload dw, decide what’s for dinner and prep (beef patties in gravy if they thaw in time, creamed potatoes, peas and carrots)
Dinner cooking
Finish litter boxes
Vacuum
Laundry - put away pet blanket and towel, put away my clothes, dry couch cover
Polished bottom cabinets in kitchen, both bathrooms, and wood pieces in living room and foyer
Bible
Paper - planner, log medical dates and distances, emails, list out the weeklies/monthlies for June, take body measurements
Exercises
Eat a snack
Mani pedi for me
Water inside and outside plants
Fed outside animals
Dd home and brought the mail so dealt with that

Do:
Meds: dogs - they ate all around them so this is a problem for tomorrow
Finish cooking
Walk dogs

And that, Bama, is why I never married. It would have led to jail time.

It looks like you and Little Bit found lots of great non-tech activities, L.Ann.

I did take advantage of this beautiful day, and got Germane out for a carry. I got to greet various neighbours, which is a summer pleasure. Speaking of summer pleasures, I have neopolitan ice cream sandwiches in the freezer.

LOL Doggedly!! How is the hide out working for you?
LOL Bama!! And . . . was supper quiet? How long did DD stay with you? I guess she's going to her own place tomorrow.
That's quite a list of accomplishments, L Ann. I need some days like that to get ready for guests.

Our dinner guests have just left. We've tidied things up - we ate take out (Thai food) outside so not much to do - and the dw is running. It is now 9:35ish. I need to type up the notes for payroll; AC will need them first thing in the morning, and I'm going to the gym at 8 a.m. to work out with AS.

Next:
- text JY re: haircut appt.
- payroll: meeting notes typed up
- duolingo
- update health apps

Later:
- make bed
- some qt
- pay snail mail bills - did 1
- lights: w d f pa
- payroll: type up meeting notes and put in morning announcements
- duolingo
- update health apps
- update lists
- can I update goodreads?

TaDas
- up; weighed self
- coffee
- email deletions + weather website
- back exercises
- dressed to jog
- took old fire pit to dumpster at dgirls' place and dumped it (it's being picked up today; they did some renovations)
- jog
- wrote check for WSW gardener and left near door + email letting her know
- looked frantically for my house key - eventually found it right in my purse where it belonged
- s2s and self care
- squeegeed and wiped the shower
- gathered stuff and otd
- quick review of sub plans
- 1-1:40 payroll: instructor meeting
- 1:40 - 3:30 payroll: sub AI AS
- 3:40 - 3:55 payroll: convo re: EPT notes and admin stuff
- home; large snack/ lunch (I didn't have time to eat before I went in to payroll)
- payroll: sub notes
- s/s-ed main bathroom
- tidied living areas
- got water and napkins for the patio table; uncovered chairs
- 6:30 - 9:20ish, CG2 here for dinner
- after dinner clean up
- texts during dinner --> (1) coffee with K tomorrow at 2 (2) work out with AS tomorrow at 8 a.m. (3) haircut appointment Th cancelled; I need to find a new time

It's working out a little too well, helia. This morning's sense of urgency is gone, but the work is not all done.
That's an early start for you. You must be about ready to wrap things up for the night.

helia, Thai takeout plus eating outside sounds like an easier way to host guests. hooray for getting dw running, and bed early so you can get up early.
doggedly, it's great that Germane enjoys her "carries." She must be very little - I think you have said so.

dfBS is transitioning in her thinking process to wondering about what hospice might mean for her. Please pray for her - for her peace of mind, for clarity and comfort in care decisions, and confidence in faith.

I have to be back at the hospital (half hour away) by 0930 in the morning, so I better get to bed soon.
Maybe 10 minutes of crochet? Plus focused prayers for her.
oh, yeah, I washed my sheets - I guess I have to make my bed too!
