Three cheers!
1.I am back into my phone for posting!
2 Ds and his dfil came over and got some additional supports under the bed. The rails/slats will not fit correctly and they decided wooden slats would not work because of the way the rails are made. So I am still using concrete blocks (with some shims), but it is more the correct size and it seems like it is sturdy now.
3.They also put the toilet flusher on.

I have to get clothes out of the dryer and put on some make-up, then go get my hair trimmed.
I * THINK * the dryer is okay... we shall see.
Tomorrow is another day.

I was feeling pretty energized but I've been down more DAR rabbit holes for my friend A. OTOH, I've also done cleaned my CPAP, finished a.m. routine, done a bunch of paper taming and filing. I'm just all over the place honestly. Also have a bar mitzvah card and birthday card in outgoing mail. And grocery order. Yes, hip hip hurray for the small stuff!

I need to leave for workout in 35 min. Afterward going by cemetery to check that outlet, and probably going on to the post office to check the HOA mailbox. I should wash the car and do some other things but not sure I will.

Dfriend M invited me and Milly over around 5 for wine and chatting.

It's killing me that I haven't gotten back to my own genealogy since coming home from my trip. We're leaving again on Wednesday for a long weekend trip (back on Sunday) and that's it for awhile. The HOA and cemetery are taking time away.

Twins -- I answered my own question -- apparently the American Legion sponsors both Boys and Girls State (in Alabama, at least.) That makes it even more puzzling that they only send one girl, but several boys. And I believe it has been this way for the last 50 years. :?

Clothes are hanging on the stationary bike. (Waiting to be put on hangers and left in closet doors to dry.)
Dgrands have gone with ds and other grandpa to eat lunch. (Thank goodness!) DGS will come back to spend the night with me.
I'm listening to Jake Hess with the Gaither Gospel music on YouTube. (Jake Hess was born in North Alabama, btw.) I have learned that listening to music like this (or sometimes Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood) starts my day in a much calmer tone, rather than getting sucked in to tv news or Western programs. (Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood however do kinda energize me.)

I vacuumed under half of the bed. I didn't want to ask them to take the other box spring off. (This bed has a single king-size mattress, but underneath, the box springs are in two pieces.)
I put on enough make-up that I don't think I will scare small children.
Off to get my hair done. ;)
Tomorrow is another day.

I moved the wheel burrow & trash can I put smaller branches in.
Picked up some twigs.
chatted with the back neighbor.

Walked ddoggo around the block.
I have 3/4 this of my steps in for the day.

Added my progress to my garden planner.
Hydrated.

One shirt was wadded up in the sheets and damp so I hung it over the clothes line in the basement.
Sheet is out on the folding table to air dry for a bit.

So nice for a calm day.
Might be a good day for some island type music I like that.

I have a pod cast about starting over to listen too also.

Renewed my car tag.
Brought dgs back to my house.

I need to get sheets back on the bed and hang up those clothes.
Also need to do another two loads of laundry -- sheets and whites.
Tomorrow is another day.

We are having meatloaf, boiled whole mini potatoes and glazed carrots for supper.

We had a very fast thunderstorm go through earlier. Dh keeps opening windows. I keep closing them. I also have the a/c on in the bedroom and a large fan going in the living room.

Home from workout and stop at the cemetery and post office. Always a good workout there. Cardio, balance, strength. The woman who is also a trainer does more stretching than the owner today, but both workouts are satisfying and effective.

Struck out at the cemetery. The key to the mausoleum didn't work. The front gate has a combination lock, not a padlock, so no idea what the keys marked cemetery are for. Trying to get the combination to the lock on front gate. There's debris up against it and it needs to be cleaned out. (That gate isn't used anymore but it would be nice if it looks maintained.) Appears no electricity at the power pole outlet, but then I didn't check to see if there was a breaker somewhere that might reset it.

And someone reported on Facebook that there's a Health Dept sign that our pool is closed so I relayed that info to pool chair.

I'm heading to dfriend M's in a few minutes.

And later, after hanging out with dfriend M in her shady backyard and walking ddog on around the block...There was a deer in the woods beyond Mimi's fence - it went bounding away when Millie reacted. There are two homes between me and her but her woods/trees etc. come right up to her fence. Here, the back was cleared off, so we have an amazing view but it's straight west where the sun bears down and gets way hot and bright in the evening.

Dh comes in around 9:30 tonight - he took his car to the airport.

Propane in our grill is low so I'm grilling chicken breasts on the old George Foreman grill for myself. I have salad makings too.

So grateful to be free of a long conference call that went over an hour, although there was an interruption with loss of phone connection for a while, so I did get up and walk around. The comeuppance is the decision to schedule another conference call with even more people. :|

Errand Day was successful.
The greeting card is complete and to the mailbox.
The delivery of the present happened.

This little toy is tiny... .. how disappointing. It's evidently just one random, surprise one of a series, but the whole series was shown in the photo online... .. I assume ddolder knows this is all you get? She had said something about how I was probably going to be disappointed in the choices dgs had put onto his wish list, but what I think is that HE is going to be disappointed, and THAT is what I don't like. The second present we got him was a sensible book - oh, dear.

I finished my outside steps just in time before the storm arrived. On the radar it doesn't look too big or bad, but it certainly looks impressive with its thick dark clouds rolling.

I sent the message TCOK? to DS17 and he replied yes so I know they are paying attention to the weather.
TCOK = Taking Care of Kayleigh?

Hip Hip Hooray the prescription papers are finally done. I filled the shredder two more times. I compiled the prescription information and printed it out to put into the NOK binder.

Hoping Twins' Dad made it home safe and sound.

And that the storm in LadyM's area looked worse than it was.

Both home and car insurance were just billed, yipes. Oh well, it's always this time of year for us that they coincide. HRH and I sat and contemplated (smile) the 5 big envelopes (explanations and statements for each, plus an explanation of a small refund we'll be getting by check later for some overage they say we were charged previously - who knows). I have all that filed now, and bills ready for Desk Day.

Btw, we've also had a refund after the class-action re: BC-BS here. That made some relatively small headlines - don't know if anyone else saw it or was affected. They have sent a visa card for the amount that had been determined we deserved refunded, which I thought was an unusual method.

I have set the dishwasher to run. Now that I've lived with it a while, I trust it at night, although it did leak once at first.
