Morning all. I'll keep this shorter. Really weird.. I have to work today. Grad for several.. plus a wedding that includes several staff. Meaning a weird day. I don't have much time. Leaving in an hour..

Frenchie that is so hard. Not having all the information. But way to go on the interview.

I need to straighten. Honestly I feel a little better about my house. Living room looks way better with a clean rug.
Just have to add a bit of pupa and attempt to keep what was tidy there. There's a few more spaces to deal with. But if the done ones can stay...plus water outside. And get ready for work.

Coming back through; I'm having some lunch.

LOL trissie! So, you did read my comment about my humorous misreading of your post. :D We do not have a ginormous dining room. I think they squeezed about 12 people around the table. I ate outside with 3 others. Some sat in the living room which is connected to the dining room. Some came late enough that others had gotten up from the table. . I think S sat on a bar stool at the kitchen counter. It worked out.
Too bad you had to go to work, Lauralind. I hope it is a good day. WTG on the clean rug!

I just need to shower and spiff myself - and order a special GF meal for dd30 - and then I'll be ready. I have 45 minutes before we leave.

Next:

Later:
- back exercises
- s2s and self care
- maybe, go for a walk?
- make the bed
- refill the bird feeder
- spiff the MBR
- make sure everyone has what they need - constant wip
- order GF Korean food for dd30 to pick up before the reception (She will not eat at the reception; the catered food is GF but still from a restaurant which she feels is not super careful about cross-contamination)
- 1:45 pm leave to go to the church - in M's car or my car which ds + fam are borrowing
- practice
- 3 pm service
- pick up GF order for dd30
- 5 pm - 10pm+ reception
- clean up

TaDas!
- up; coffee
- mix up the pans of cornbread and get them in the oven
- print out the quiz; stapling
- cut up 4 pans of cornbread
- empty dw and tidy kitchen
- finalize speech with dh
- loaded and ran the dw
- go to reception venue; dropped off corn bread, butter and honey; set out quizzes on each table
- dd30's house - picked up my black shoes that dd28 had borrowed
- Walgreens: picked up script + pens
- back to the reception venue; set out pens on each table (for the fun quiz)
- home
- some lunch
- niece LP unloaded the dw
- tried to order the meal for dd30 for delivery; it wasn't working.

lauralind, is the wedding and the graduations an event that you want to visit, or ones that are related to work?
helia, a dining room for 12 is still kinda ginormous to me, given that our dining area consists of an area of about 10x11 feet :-)

Outside is beginning to look nice. Not "there" yet, but doable in time for DH's party next Saturday (due to a work event, he won't be able to take Friday off the way he does every year to get the garden ready, so it needs to be done this weekend).

Hello everyone!

Trissie,. Mmm homemade strawberry jam.πŸ“WTG on the garden rescue!

Congratulations on your job interview, FFB. Adding you, Mr NG and both DSs to my prayers.

Helia, you sound very busy with everything and everyone! Enjoy Baby I, and I hope DD's service goes well.

I hope work isn't too exhausting today, Laura.

It's been a lovely day, the first warm, sunny day for ages . I spent some time just sitting in my garden, and then did some dead heading. My new geranium is significantly smaller than the others,.but hopefully it will soon catch up. The meal with friends this evening was lovely,.we went to a family run Turkish restaurant, which also cooks Greek and English food, and it was very good to catch up with everyone.

Greetings, all. I had a nice phone visit with my db and took Germane for a leisurely walk. It's a beautiful day. I'm happy that the heat wave is over. And now I hear thunder, so we timed that walk well. :)

I can see that people here are really busy. Summer activities and life in general. :)

Hi all. Home again. Yup I'm tired. Busy day again. The wedding is a friend of the manager and a couple of girls. I don't know them. Then we have two students graduating plus one with a grandkid or something. Grad is always hard let alone when someone picks the same weekend. If I had not worked it wouldn't have gone well.

It's a beautiful day here too. Except I'm ready to fall asleep i my chair. I need a get up and find supper.

We can celebrate that you got through your day, Lauralind. When I read your first message, I thought that you had to attend a wedding and the graduations yourself and work as well. As busy as your day was, I'm sure that it worked out better this way.

Haha maybe it came across confusing. Nope just work. Just too many off for those events but who can help someone not involved in grad to pick that wedding day... I have got to figure out how all my energy doesn't have to be used up at work.

I tried playing piano. No go too tired but I am trying not to be asleep too early. I'll find music tomorrow morning.
