Morning all. Ohh gma I'm so glad you had some fun in amongst all that. It's got to be so hard for your friend. And another death too. So glad you have your sister there.

Helian I am sorry about the subbing just right now that you almost had no choice on. Terrible timing. I feel like I missed something. What was the ceremony and reception for last weekend? Is that what brought your house guests? I hope those trips can be relaxed and maybe the backpacking can restore.

Well now to make my day a somewhat restoring one too. Can I? I have an appointment with school in the morning. Bible study. Physio. Everything with not enough time to do much at all in between. 9 at the school. 1030 to 12 or so. And 100. Ds has social studies exam this morning. And pe probably some sort of assessment after lunch. Tomorrow is science and German. The hardest being German... probably. So far so good today will be ok. Tomorrow hopefully he will not stress too much.

I've got to figure out how to link school with his ebus online ideas. Probably get his iep in writing. And send it to the online school. Then he's got to get more determined with summer school. It technically only starts now after school ends and he's almost done with the first assignment.

As for what to do today. I think I'm going to do some rearrange. Put some coleus plants outside. Move my shelving around and use the one I have for a toy shelf and a few other things.

I've also got to make progress in my craft room. It's got so many paint idea things in there and half done projects.

Lots to do so broken up that I hope I can feel like I'm doing something.

Hi, all. I have accidentally arranged a day with too much on, so just fly bys for now. I signed up for one of my Walrus Talks, which is going on right now. When I checked my emails after I got up, I found that the mattress topper I bought from Costco has changed its delivery date from Friday to today, and it is being delivered by... sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach... FedEx.
I have the hand truck loaded with bungy cords and waiting by the door, I am spiffed and ready to go, and I have Zoom running on my tablet with the Walrus talk, so far so good.

Is DS doing the summer school for extra credits, lauralind, or does he need extra attention in some of the classes?
helia, I'd be so mad about having to go to work on that one day that was supposed to be yours only!
Dogged, oh no, the famous game of hide and seek is one again?
kitkat, if there's granddaughter adventure on the list, than you've done all the important stuff!
what are you thinking of planting, Bama?

Hi, Bama. You are making good inroads into that list.

Not this time, trissie! I was so surprised, but the FedEx deliver couldn't have gone smoother and the driver couldn't have been nicer. He called me from the lobby and then brought the box right to my door, though I was willing to come down with the hand truck.

Are you making cherry jam on a work night, trissie? That seems very ambitious, but if anyone can get it done, it's you. . :)

I have painted myself into a corner, resulting in decision paralysis. Both the mattress topper and Germane's boxes of pee pads have been delivered. I think that I have mentioned that my apartment is like a tile puzzle, where you have one square of free space and have to move all of the tiles around to be able to relocate anything. The entrance is now filled with boxes and carts, blocking the dw cart and laundry cart from leaving the walk-in closet. The mattress topper is not heavy, but once it is unfurled I'm pretty sure that I'm going to have trouble moving it. Also, there is nowhere in the apartment with enough space to unfurl it except the bed. So, before I take it out of the box I have to have the bed stripped and a plan for replacing the bedding. I also have to do my own laundry, as I didn't get it done last week. Regular laundry usually finishes me for the day.
I need to get at least one of Germane's boxes to the basement, and bring the extra extra parchment paper down.
Once the mattress topper is tested, the box will need to go to the basement.
There are dishes to do, and the floor to wash. Can't use the dw until it can be pulled out of the walk in closet, and can't do laundry until the cart is accessible. There must be a thread that I can pull that brings the whole lot along with it.
I'm just not sure.

Received parcel. The FedEx driver was able to call me using the building’s call box, and when I went to release the door it actually worked. I was about to go down with the handtruck, but he met me in the hallway and brought it right to my door. He couldn’t have been nicer about it. Such a difference from my last FedEx delivery!
Got it into the apartment.
Got a call from the lobby again: WalMart with Germane’s pee pads. Door release did not work.
Went to the lobby with the hand truck and brought them up.
Germane came to life and interested in food.
Gave her dog food one spoonful at a time.
Made her a saucer of rice and broth.
Made myself a bowl of rice and vegetables
Searched for login to apartment’s online portal
Logged in and checked it out

Trissie you always runs circles around me.
I have some dogwoods, milkweed, satsumas, not sure what else, it’s raining pretty hard so outdoor chores are on hold probably until next week. (Storms coming and then Father’s Day weekend)

Dogged, I usually enjoy Tetris but this sounds a little complicated. I know you will work it out.

I’m going to tackle the laundry room sink which is a catch all for everything when we come inside, pet stuff, outdoor stuff, trash…

Bama, my approach was to take a nap and sleep on it. ;)
I will take your walk, as our threatening clouds turned white and fluffy, and spaced reassuringly far apart.
