Naps can be very helpful for creative solutions. Thank you for taking the walk off my hands, I didn’t want to anyway lol.

That sink and area was nasty! It’s shiny now and filled a bag of garbage to go out next week. I’m ahead of the game lol. Not really, I should walk it to the road so it can go away but only time will tell if I do or not, probably not.
Updating list and eating some leftovers.

Do:
✔️Bible
✔️Garbage round up and take to road
Laundry - ✔️wash ✔️dry put away my clothes and shoes, ✔️wash dry put away chair cover someone marked
✔️Pet chores - feed, water, scoop litter, wipe down boxes, clean under them and replace pads, heat up broth and veg and give to dogs
Tux meds ✔️am ✔️pm
Clean ears ✔️ Beau, Thumper, Tux
✔️Dust
vacuum mop
✔️Paper chores
✔️Clean out laundry room sink area - only took two hours :P
✔️Donate atv mirrors, books
❌Push mow? See if mower will start
❌Walk dd’s dog and mine - rained out
❌Plant plants in ground
✔️Unload back of atv
✔️Color hair, Face mask, Shower

Glad to be of help, Bama. WTG on getting that sink under control.

I have moved 4 carts and a box to extract my laundry cart, and threw together a bag of delicates to add to the cart. It's the perfect time to do laundry: all of the machines are clear. And I therefore have no laundry card. In fact, the entire tiny attache case where it resides has vanished. The last place I remember having that case out was in the library, to check out my CDs.
New plan: impromptu trip to the library to see if my little case of cards made it to the lost and found. By the time I come back, I expect to see the laundry room in use.

Thanks, Bama. It couldn't have been easier. I described the tiny silver attaché case and the librarian immediately recognized what I was talking about and got it for me. :) I'm just grabbing a quick sandwich, and then I'll start laundry.

Wednesday
Spiffed self
Heart pill for Germane
Cleaned up after Germane
Got handtruck out of the dog pen and attached a bag of bungy cords, ready for the delivery
Tested zoom on tablet: working
Joined zoom presentation
Received parcel. The FedEx driver was able to call me using the building’s call box, and when I went to release the door it actually worked. I was about to go down with the handtruck, but he met me in the hallway and brought it right to my door. He couldn’t have been nicer about it. Such a difference from my last FedEx delivery!
Got it into the apartment.
Got a call from the lobby again: WalMart with Germane’s pee pads. Door release did not work.
Went to the lobby with the hand truck and brought them up.
Germane came to life and interested in food.
Gave her dog food one spoonful at a time.
Made her a saucer of rice and broth.
Made myself a bowl of rice and vegetables
Searched for login to apartment’s online portal
Logged in and checked it out
Tried to organize my day
Cooked a piece of salmon for Germane
Decided to leave meeting with the rep for the apartment portal until tomorrow
Walked Germane
Joined neighbours for a chat and walked home
Moved carts and the mattress topper box into the area that the big drying rack will need
Got the laundry cart out of walk-in closet
Bagged the delicates to be included
Searched for laundry card: cannot find the tiny attache case where it is normally kept
Searched for the tiny attache case
Concluded that I left it in the library when I took out my hold
Checked library web site for phone number for the branch: no branch numbers
Drove to library
Retrieved my little attache case. It must have made an impression, as the librarian recognized immediately what I was talking about.
Started two loads of laundry
Came up with a strategy for the mattress topper: I am going to strip the bed, take out the topper and put it on the bed, strip off the washable cover, put a duvet cover over the mattress topper, remake the bed temporarily until the topper’s cover can be washed and finish drying

Is your hair beautiful, Bama?
Yay for successful deliveries, Doggedly!
trissie, I did have to wrangle with my soul for a bit and say a prayer. I was not a happy camper. I could have put my foot down and said "no", but it is a small company and it is beneficial to do a favor once in a while. It took about 3 hours of my day, maybe 3.5 with notes afterward.
It seems kitkat had an adventure with her dgd. I can't scroll back that far.
Lauralind - I remember you asked. Yes, the houseguests were here for the vow ceremony, basically like a wedding - but just one person. Dd30 pledged herself to the church to be single and celibate. If she were Catholic, she'd become a nun. She identifies as LGBTQ while also believing in a traditional biblical view of marriage; this is called Side B. Thus, she has felt a calling to singleness for her life. We fed about 85 at the reception, I think. So, not too large.

The day is over. I'm very tired. Besides payroll, I did a bunch of little things. I'll try to list them.

Perhaps the biggest success - dh was able to secure tickets to see the Basilica de la Sagrada Familia in Barcelona! They just opened up August tickets today, and he could see them going but couldn't purchase them on his laptop. He used my laptop this evening and was able to buy them. :) Though, strangely, my cc didn't work but his did.

We're leaving tomorrow morning for the religious conference. I will pack tomorrow - I'm too tired now.

Next:
- get ready for bed
- go to bed

Later:
- make bed
- grocery list and menu plan
- darks: w d f pa
- lights: w d f pa
- exercise: gym - stair stepper? Or a long walk?
- strip guest beds
- update health apps
- update goodreads

TaDas!
- up; coffee
- said good bye to dsilM and dniece L
- payroll: communication  subbing at 11
- back exercises
- s2s and self care
- squeegeed and wiped down shower
- reclaimed kitchen
- payroll: look over sub notes
- 11-1 payroll: sub R/W
- home; lunch
- after lunch clean up
- payroll: typed up sub notes
- payroll: set up zoom room for exit test on Friday
- filled out another form for new trustee
- lots of communication re: bnb
- posted info for bnb group
- added some photos to album of the ceremony ddil F started
- ordered more post it notes
- grocery list made
- WF
- put groceries away
- dinner: quinoa with black beans, rice, green salad
- after dinner clean up
- ordered new jacket; I've lost the black one I like
- reply to friend B - my bday lunch is on the calendar
- told AS I can't meet him for a work out tomorrow; we're leaving in the morning
- darks: w, d, shirts and pants folded and put away
- lights: w, d, shirts and pants folded and put away
- duolingo

lol, Helia, no it’s not. I tried a lighter color on my dark brown with gray roots hair and it didn’t stick to the gray so I pretty much look the same as I did an hour ago, just cleaner.

What a mature daughter you have, I don’t know if I could take a vow, especially so young. Sending all the best to her and to a wonderful life. Hope you get some rest.

I think I’m done for the day, unless I get a wild hair. See yall tomorrow.

Ah well. At least your hair is clean, Bama! Dd30 did process this with her spiritual director for several years first, so we're trusting she has done the legwork needed for the vow.
