Little routines keep us moving forward
little exercises keep us flexible
taking time to read a little, learn something new keeps our brain engaged.
starting with a first stitch can lead to an outfit being made or a quilt being finished.
one stroke of paint lead to beautiful artwork.
We don't need to do a big project - big projects are just a series of little steps.
How about today - how can you keep things simple and joyful without pressing yourself to "do it all"
Making small steps forward leads to big adventures -

My Summer Retreat Weekend /
Working on getting a shallow tote a bit at a time unload it
rinsed it out
fill it with water & Epsom salts add vinegar.
Get doggo in to soak feet for a bit. { that is it's own challenge.}
Each micro step is progress.
Same with working on the pj's I'm hemming,
pin placement
redo pins placement
measure
re- measure
Cut take old hem off with enough fabric to re- attach
cut off excess off main part of garment.
Pin on for placement to get ready to reattach.
More small steps.
I'm done to here. . .
Decide if machine or hand stitching is best.
Then work on pocket [s].

Re: The Power of Doing Little Things Saturday PWYC
I've gone to get groceries this morning. Came home and boiled 10 eggs. (8 for the potato salad and 2 for me). Cooked breakfast for dh after I gave him his meds. Peeled and chopped the eggs and now the salad is in the fridge.
There is a CFL game with the Toronto Argos, so dh is watching that. There is also a Blue Jays game on this afternoon.
I really need to get to the litter boxes. After I went outside and picked some rhubarb, I came in and I knew what job was next on my list.
I also had a chicken sandwich and used up the leftovers from last night's BBQ chicken.
