Well normally the tower closes after midnight, I think - I know I was leaving around 10pm last summer? Got there around 7:30, waited in the line for about 30 minutes, climbed to the second floor still during daylight, but by the time I finally got to the summit (another lift line), it was dusk, so I had the opportunity to look at Paris by night too.
Oh, how I LOVED the Paris trip! I was so hoping to go there with DH for our 20th wedding anniversary, had everything planned out, but then life happened

Hi, all. I am showing up late to the party again, but I spent a lovely afternoon having a phone visit with my db. We literally went from just after lunch until suppertime. It's a beautiful day here, so I was attaching some more fake plants to my balcony railing, and enjoying sitting outside in the sun.

I had a wonderful time at the dachshund rescue fundraiser with my bff. I came home for a nap after and to look after Germane, and then went to her house to join her dfamily for supper. We had a great time there as well. I came home very tired and just looked after Germane and vegged until bed time.

I will CUOP this evening. For now, I just wanted to let you know that things are fine.

I did not get a chance to post since the morning...
Went to the gym - had a good workout with DD and DDIL.
Went to farmer's market with DDIL.
Got some gorgeous produce, inc. mushrooms:), some potted herbs and a gorgeous bouquet of Campanula . (Kittykatt would love it)
I could not resist!
Cleaned up all the stuff, made a quick lunch using up the Asparagus:)
Then, I was tired... I went for a 1/2 hour nap that turned into an hour and a half...
We then took Dpup to some stores.
Once we got back I took Dpup for a bit shorter walk than usual. She is all worn out
Just set up quark to drain in the fridge so I can bake tomorrow...

Next:
Need to cut up the garlic scapes and pa.
make dinner for pup
and for us.

Pa stuff we bought.
Tomorrow is another day...

You are so right, kitkat. I could never keep up with the social lives that some of our dfs here live. My bff is an extrovert. She was talking about going to the national powwow today. I haven't made it past my balcony.
It sounds like you also had a lovely day, and made the best use of a summer weekend.
I have to get my hair washed tonight as they will be upgrading our water system tomorrow. Must remember to put some more water bottles in the fridge. I don't think that I'll get much more done than that.
