Fresh vegetables is one of the joys of summer, L.Ann. I am enjoying a salad myself.
Your organization made it comfortable for you to offer your home for the barbeque, trissie. WTG!
That's wonderful that you get so much time off during the year. You work so hard when you are there, you deserve it.
I'm glad that the Farmers Union and the church gave you a break from the heat, Kittykatt. I hope that it breaks soon. Heat waves that drag on can be so wearing.
I had gotten this typed when my db called for a phone visit, which was nice. After that, I got in touch with my honorary neice about taking her to her medical appointment in July and we chatted for a while. Then I walked Germane, and went shopping. I'm giving my knees a quick rest and then I have to put away the cold groceries and bring up the rest of the groceries from the car.

Re: Kenzo Tange Thursday
I have put some fish on to cook for Germane and put most of the groceries away.
I had a shopping coup that I am very happy with. I was about to pay $18/kg for a turkey breast for Germane, when I found whole frozen duck for $11/kg. She'll have to settle for fish until it's thawed out and cooked, but she'll be happy once it's done.
