hi, the appt was no hassle and we were able to leave at a reasonable time. Still, it's all very social there, because we're greeted by so many people by now - we could find folks we know by first name on every floor. Ended up in conversation about my new-and-ever-changing hair with two different ladies. HRH chats with the valet folks and the transport folks. We did get a sandwich, since the appt was over at about lunch time.
Back home, I was socialed out, and napped.
I got one quilt block quilted. Paid two bills.
Ds came by without children. But then dgdC called him and said he had left her behind. By this time, it was falling dark, so she was willing to walk but he had to come out and watch for her, lol. So, he did that and she must have been running the whole way - came in the house panting. Of course, HRH is right there with a Yoo Hoo for her refreshment, lol.
She and I went straight to the studio after she finished the drink, and she counseled me on how to quilt the other blocks, on leaving the quilt portions opened out overnight to get enough air to disappear the markings, etc.
lantana - only planted this a few times in the past and do have several plants of a hybrid planted this year. They have not overwintered here, so I don't know for sure, but I don't believe I've seen anything resembling berries. Maybe I've always had hybrids and didn't know it. These now are a short variety, which is a disappointment since I was hoping for some height - didn't know that when I bought them. At our doctor's office, there was a hedge of lantana, tall and deep - maybe that is actually a different plant?
