I slept in till 6:30 was up in the wee hours to let doggo out.
Did my a.m. qt on the deck.
I did go on the deck and watch fireworks for 45 min. or so last nite.
I put the lawn chairs back did not find fire works bits in the yard so glad!

Had bfast.
ddoggo is out of her safe zone resting today.
Glad I had a food plan for the weekend.

Need to s2s wash hair.

My goal today is to use the out door work space before it's too hot and wash the bird waters.
Birds are back in the yard doing bird things glad for that.
I checked on the time for the scoccer match this afternoon for me.

Waving!

I'm here! A bit tattered and torn but all is well that ends well.

We had a strong storm come through around 11pm last night and tore some big branches off the trees. It also toppled 4 of my tomato cages with plants over 10' tall. It also lifted the top off two of the raised beds. It was some serious wind! I just had a few moments to look around the garden so haven't completely assessed the damage done. I'll do that later or tomorrow.

I could frame my night in a negative way or positive. Both are valid.
The Negatives -
** DS17 & Fiance16 drove all night arriving home at 4:15am. I was on the phone with them and tracking on Life360.
** DH had another amnesia episode at 5:15am. It woke me up after I had just gone to sleep.
** Two hours sleep is what fitbit says I got last night.

The Positives -
** DS17 & Fiance16 are safe and learned some valuable life lessons.
** DH is alive. When these episodes hit him it is truly life threatening with a high chance of him not surviving. He needs someone to be with him every moment while he recovers. The last couple of times I had to call 911 but this time I was able to handle it myself.
** I am strong and able to keep going with little sleep in high stress times.

I am sitting with DH with spurts of getting up to move around and do something. I don't let him out of my sight for more than a couple minutes. This phase of his recovery usually takes 12 hours or so. Hopefully he will be back to his normal self tomorrow.

LadyM…so sorry to hear abt you DH, but glad the kids arrived home safely.

Slow morning here. Bad thunder storms started at 5am but were mostly over by 7. Had to wait that long to walk Amelia

Breakfast was made for everyone and now it’s almost time for lunch. I have a few things I want to do in the office so hopefully my motivation will show up 😊

Sorry I disappeared. Our heaviest cat decided it was a great time to just walk between my face and the monitor. She stepped on a bunch of keys. Weird things happened with my computer. I yelled at her and she wouldn't move. I tried to pick her up and I couldn't because she clutched my keyboard with her claws. Dh wanted to know why I was yelling and the cat was meowing... After I got the computer back to normal, I went and laid down.

Dh had another middle of the night sugar crash. I need to get a phone appointment with his doctor who will be back in his office tomorrow after a 2 week holiday. Dh sits on the toilet yelling for me because he can't see, I get woken up and I need to take him orange juice and chocolate. I keep telling dh to lower his insulin by 10 units, then he forgets to actually do it. Low sugar is so much worse than his old average that was in the teens.

I'm happy that LadyM's ds is home safe. Also happy that LucyLee has all her family members back home safe from their vacation.

(((LordM and LadyM))) my thoughts are with you as you deal with LordM's amnesia episode.

The person who has one of our raised beds texted dh earlier that she was coming over to water got a quick response from dh that all the gardens were very well watered over the past 5 days with all the storms we've had.

It was cool enough for me to bake a banana bread this morning. I've also taken out the bathroom and kitchen garbage. Now I just have to do the litter boxes. Dh tells me he needs a shower today.
