Hi, all. I didn't make it back, as I had a phone visit with my db. Germane had her walk once the sun was going down and it was cooler. Now I'm finally ready to do some housework--just in time for bed.

Checked car, because it was acting up
Went to Dr.’s office
Went to Canadian Tire to buy a scale
Went to St Vincent de Paul and dropped off donations
Went to bank and deposited OAS cheque–yay!
Drove home
Brought shopping up
Treats for Germane
Got a snack
Cleaned up after dog
Drained air conditioner
Phone visit with db
Went through papers
Filled a box for recycling
Bagged up kitchen garbage and brought it to the chute
Took Germane for walk
Pills for Germane
Took recycling to basement
Food and probiotic for Germane

I'm going to bed soon. It was a very busy - but good day. Tutorial was OK; this kid doesn't talk much, though I did get him to talk quite a bit about the World Cup. I think building his confidence (and grammaticality) in speaking will be one of my goals. He's also very sloppy with his written work. I'd like to clean that up too, but that may not be the priority. I only have 16 hours with him. My own class is great! I also made a quick WF run, typed up notes for payroll, made the bed, got a decent meal on the table (main from the freezer), made a menu plan for the week.

The appointment went well, thank you kitkat. My bloodwork came back surprisingly good for my age, to the point that the doctor asked if I was taking iron and B-12 supplements. No, I'm just that fabulous, LOL. My cholesterol is starting to creep up a little, and we settled on exercise as a first strategy to keep it down.
