we didn't realize that we had the bed since may of 2025 - wow
thank you - it is a good thing to get rid of the hospital bed
I am frustrated by my recent purchases of sprinklers (the back and forth kind gets stuck all the time - this is my third one)
flip laundry
played with dogs
fed mom what I could, gave her meds - helper gave her a shower which mom was not happy about! it has to be hard for her.
ordered her body cream
helper and I put her back to bed - furosemide is really hard on mom.

Re: Wonderful Wednesday PWYC
hello d Nancy! nothing better than cloths off the line. (do you know the neighbors behind us are part of an HOA and they are not allowed to have a laundry line or any type of a fence.) I grew up with laundry lines.
praying for your teacher in the hospital
yay on your work and your sewing day!
hi d harriet HAPPY flip and flop laundry day!
have a good day too
hi d mystery good day to you! Wegular Wednesday to you!
she has a nice bed that she sleeps better in - it's not always easy but I can get her in. she is now 110 lbs. which is good for can be hard for me. (dd older leaves tomorrow at 4 am for her trip to Florida - it shall be interesting for me to be on my own.)
yay on treadmill! cheering you on as you work!!!
hi d lady good day!
oh my goodness I would be exhausted with the kiddos working on ATV etc. until 3 am - oh to be that young! praying your ds finds a farm job he wants soon. he has so much experience!
Wonderful Wednesday is a perfect way to describe my hopes and plans for today. wonderful - praying it is exactly the day that you have
hi d cathy hope the smoke doesn't bother you all too much and dissipates face.
d twins wishing you a wonderful optimistic Wednesday - happy time with the luncheon

Re: Wonderful Wednesday PWYC
We did a round of errands that took us out of the house for 2.5 hours.
** To family doctor office because telerpm blood pressure monitor won't consistently work. We have had these BP monitors for a couple years and use them daily with zero problems. Now one of them is being a PITA. The telerpm person comes to our doctor office once a week so we went to meet with her. She gave us a new bp machine. Medicare picks up the cost of the machine and the monthly monitoring. If our BP goes high or low they will call us on the phone to check if we are okay. The family doctor gets a report with daily & monthly averages, so he always has good data.
** Stopped by internet & cable provider office to cancel the TV channels. We never use them so why are we paying about $100 a month for them? I never watch live TV through those channels and DH has lost the ability to access those paid channels. He is content to watch old sports games and westerns on roku free channels. He used to watch ncis on Netflix but he can't keep his focus long enough for a show. ANYway - this change frees up a $100 a month to use in a different way.
** Grocery store for must haves. We are going to the city tomorrow so I will do a big stock up after DD15 appt with oral surgeon. But there were a couple things that was needed today. AND as always, several things that I didn't have on my list also found their way into the grocery cart. I found fresh okra for $3.99 a lb so brought a bag of it home. The cabbage caught my eye because it looked wonderful, then I noticed it was on sale for 69cents lb so it came home with me too.
It is too hot for soup, but that is what I crave.....so guess what I have simmering on the stove top?
Continuing with my teeny tiny ways that are mostly consistently done each hour.
Weedeating one section of fence each hour. 16' of fenceline x 10 hours results in about 160' of weed eating accomplished with minimum effort. By the time my arms get tired and I get hot, it is time to stop and do something else.

** Spent some time with DD50 and DD15 discussing multiple possibilities and making plans. The plan (in jello) is that DD15 will have all 4 wisdom teeth removed on Friday. She will recuperate at DD50 home. DD50 meets with surgeon on July 28ths about upcoming hernia surgery. DSonIL returns from Australia on Aug 1. DD15 will return to living here the end of July to prepare for the start of school. Meet the teacher happens on August 4th and 1st day of school is August 6th.
** Spent time with DS17 discussing his plans for today and future. it includes getting a job in city 30 miles away and renting a house there with a friend.

Re: Wonderful Wednesday PWYC
Of course the luncheon was lovely. Eight total, including hostess and interim rabbi. I don't know if I mentioned it was to welcome the rabbi and get to know her, and let her meet us! She is a fabulous hostess, eight-six years old, up at 4:30 a.m. to work out. Drives off a mountain far steeper than our last mountain was. Beautiful, interesting home. Paintings and prints, art glass, and sculptures everywhere. Beautiful one-level home in the woods. We told the rabbi lots of temple stories, lots of laughs.
This has been sitting quite a while when I got distracted...
Anyway, glad the luncheon is over.
I think auto sales man neighbor will be over tonight for me to sign the papers. He's young and doesn't always follow instructions, but is married to the dd of friends.
