I lost a post for some strange reason. Then, M came home and chatted with me for a while.

We're keeping our windows closed tonight - because of the smoke drifting this way from fires in Canada. Are you getting smoke, Canadian friends? Gma? L Ann?
Gma, you had a lot of experience before you had children! I always thought you had like 4 children. You only have one?

Aw, nice Little Bit could face time her cousins, L Ann.

Dh's procedure was standard and nothing was found. He's good for another 10 years. I bought a rotisserie chicken yesterday, and he wanted that for dinner, so I heated some of it up, made rice and some broccoli. With some tamari sauce on the side, we had a simple dinner.

I got the payroll exam checklist made.

Tomorrow, is pretty scheduled.

I'd also like to knock off something else from my brain dump list, and I'll need to do laundry and prep for AAS D7. I'll need to go in early on Friday to grade my exams - unless I stop by tomorrow and pick them up.

yeah, I am the mother of only 1. We sure would have liked more, but had to be happy with the 1 we were blessed with. And he is a good son. They also only have 1. That's by choice. My dh was an only child also.
I am one of 4: 3 girls in 5 years, then a boy when I was 14.

We have very close family relationships, and pretty much everyone gets along well.

Progress at mother's house today, with many thanks to dsil and bro:
leaky faucet fixed
bathroom vent fan hooked up to the roof vent
5 boxes delivered to the college archives, of work my father had done
some family history in my grandmother's handwriting, along with obituaries for 2 great grandmothers - I will take those to local print shop and have copies made to mail to various cousins.
meatballs from freezer eaten (food gets devoured much faster when 3 are eating instead of 1!)
dw got loaded and started
we all went to see ds and family for a short evening visit.

dbro will stay a few more days.
I need to go see dfBS tomorrow while dbro takes his wife to the airport
and hope for a good night sleep tonight - I've been tired all day: I started the day with watering my relatively new grass, and I was tired the whole day after that.
