I hope your dd stays safe, Nancy. I had a rest day, too. More than I wanted.

lucylee, it sounds like a very nice party for your dgs and ddil. Talkative groups are encouraging.

Ddolder and I worked out a few details for a get-together for my dgsC. It will be the weekend after, so probably this coming Sunday afternoon. At one time, he'd asked me to make one of my fresh strawberry cakes for him sometime, but I told dd if I don't get more energy that won't be happening this week. She says he talks about Red Velvet cakes, too, which she can pick up at a good grocery bakery.

I've set the dishes to wash, so at least the kitchen didn't fall by the wayside today. HRH and I watched a bit of tv together.

LucyLee, I'm glad the party was a success. You asked about laundry - I wash towels separately, as I use the cotton wash for them (usually at 40C, unless someone has been unwell, then it's 60C - the same.for the bed sheets). I usually wash panties on a slightly more gentle.wash (I think my machine calls the programme "synthetics", but YMMV) . Bras I put in a little net bag and wash on the delicate cycle along with anything else that needs a gentle wash. I also sort whites, darks and colours, but that's just me!
