a quick hi. It's late. I just got home after a long day at the NH, sitting with dfBS as she eventually took her last breath. She was unresponsive most of the day. My responsibilities will soon be over - tho not quite yet. Her brother is 2000 miles away and will not be coming at this time. So I must go to her house to get an outfit for her, then meet with the funeral home tomorrow to authorize cremation, and figure out how her brother is going to pay from that far away.
Now I am going to work for about 1/2 hour on first draft of an obituary, then go to bed, and hopefully get a better night sleep than I did last night.

Ohh gma I am so sorry. You are a beautiful person for caring so much. You took care of your friend so well. And your mother. I hope you can get some rest now.

I've had a fairly productive day. Bedding is all clean. Just have to make the bed with the bamboo set . Weather finally made me not want the flannel. Laundry done. Kitchen clean. I weeded most everywhere outside. Don't know what with the strawberry spinach. It's pretty in the end with it's strawberry looking flowers. But is it ever a prolific weed. Almost worse now than chickweed.

I did withdraw ds from his class. He can do it at school. At least he was out playing game on the TV computer. Better.

My physio appointment was good too. Now I don't have to go for a month. Wouldn't you know just the right time span to make some sort of routine with the exercises. To strengthen the legs and hips and shoulders and arms.

So sorry for your loss, gma! But I think you did right by your friend, as you were instrumental in her transition to the NH where her needs could be met and you made sure she was not alone in her last moments. She was lucky to have you as a friend!
