Linux installations have certainly improved over the years, FrenchFly. I tried to
install Linux (or was it Unix?) on one of my old computers in the 1990s but had to give it up because it didn't have the driver for the CD-ROM, so couldn't find the operating system. Now I've heard that some of the big PC manufactures are shaking off the stranglehold that Microsoft contracts had on them, and are selling native Linux PCs.
I think that your DH has come up with a great project for your DSs. Woodworking has already sparked an interest in carving.

Washed the floor around her pee pads (and under) and the front of apartment
Germane woke up
Rushed to get some pee pads on the floor
Used up the last of the box
Germane used her pee pad (good girl) then pooped on the floor
Raced her to stop her from walking through the poop.

Gave Germane her heart pill and peanut butter
Set up new recycling box
Started new peepad box
Finished putting out pee pads

Finally back. The walking sticks sound like lots of fun, FFB. The science program was really well done, KitKat and Little Bit loved it even though she tried to tell me she didn’t want to go.

Sounds like a stir fry was for dinner, kitkat. WTG on all the laundry and pick up! I have driven in Toronto once and around Toronto once. Traffic there is not for the faint of heart.
Doggedly, my ds works on OS stuff at Microsoft. However, I think he prefers Linux. He may even use it on his personal computer. LOL!
trissie, I'm also intrigued by the 200 item put away challenge. In one day? In a week? What counts as an item? WTG on all you got done today.

Home from dinner out with CG2. I've gotten my new under-shirt bag unpacked, put my passport in it, put new batteries in my headlamp (for the huts), and did a last read through of the exams. I think I'm going to chill for the rest of the evening. Tomorrow will be busy as I need to get packed tomorrow + do some shopping + do laundry. And I will exercise tomorrow.

AACK! I'm having an itch attack!
I did get to the dr today, and was prescribed the medicine I expected. Plus she told me some over-the-counter things I can take in addition. So I have just taken Tylenol and Benadryl. I hope they kick in fast!
Other than the DR,
I had lunch at a restuarant with df co-workers. t was a good distraction, plus some understanding sympathy from fellow nurses. We meet the last Monday every month.
I spent a couple hours at dfBS house, gathered all her meds, and brought them to the medication disposal place, and was able to empty plenty of containers into one larger one (per pharmacist instructions, as they all get incinerated) so I could put the smaller containers into the recycle bin. Tomorrow I will bring her brother's address and gather a few envelopes that need to be forwarded to him. Then will I be done? Mostly. I will need to meet with her pastor when he gets back from vacation.
Supper was at one of our local churches that provides supper for the community every Monday night.

Now I have a couple hours before bedtime.

Check mother's house - make a plan for getting it ready for the Vacation Bible School leaders who are coming from a regional Summer Camp and need a place to stay starting Sunday night. Talk to Deacon tomorrow to see how many are coming - do I need to prepare 2 beds or 3?
Then I need to gather some knick knacks that mother ahs on every dresser, so these girls have a place for their things for the week they are here.
I have Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday to do this.

trissie, how long is a 200 challenge? I have to really focus to do 50-100 in a day!
