I'm at the airport. I got most things done. I can't think of anything I've forgotten - yet. We're boarding in about 10 minutes so I'll be making my last bathroom run soon.
This will be a fairly people-y trip. LOL! I'll try to snatch some times alone. And once we're out of the mountains, I might have more of a chance to hermit.

I am having one of those days where you feel like your life doesn't much like you. I had tried so hard to protect the floor of my apartment from damage, putting down big pieces of linoleum in the area of the animal pens and where the pee pads go, but tonight I found that Germane has managed to get her pee under some of the linoleum some time ago, and it has soaked in. I cut the soaked linoleum back and washed the floor. I brought it all down to the basement garbage so that it's not still smelling up the apartment. As soon as I opened my door, I found the 24-hour notice of entry. They're coming into my apartment tomorrow afternoon. The floor will not have had time to dry out, so it is very visible as soon as you enter the apartment. Oh, well, be prepared to take my lumps.
The paper says that the reason they are coming in is to give an important announcement. It's the wrong time of year to announce rent increases. I really hope that they are not selling the building or renovicting us. I hope that it's the bill for using the air conditioner. It's the right time of year for that.
