I'm checking in okay. air is clear of smoke and it's cool 55* / 78* today's temps.
So glad to see mtns. to the north and south of me.
3 hrs. away big fires in Spokane We. Saw on Fox weather and other stations.
I slept well till 4 ddoggo alerted me to activity outside some one yelling what's going on and as a two truck unloaded the
neighbors car. So I've been up. Did a walk about in the yard being so grateful for a calm day.
I picked up small branches that came down last evening.
Dishes need attn. s2s walk etc. regular stuff.

I have food need to run the rigs and should fuel em up all the way this week.
I did journaling planning and regroup mentally yesterday.
today finish up the BWP bathrooms, dishes etc.

I have some errands next week that need done.
Watering is on going.

Hi, Nancy.

I'm trying to think in terms of the week today. Have posted with blessed in Basic Weekly, although life doesn't lend itself to consistent day-of-the-week certainty that the way it did when there was a work or school schedule for our house. Now appts seem to have a lot more sway, with less control from us.

I'm resolving to think nutrition. Have started my August tracking with the circular habit tracker of 12 daily spaces and filled in for yesterday.

Hoping to be solving project puzzles - mostly how to finish the quilt in sort of equal sessions, so I can track progress. Need to write that out so I always know what's next, and there are steps, not overwhelm.
Another project puzzle is some plant repotting.

Hi to lucylee! We were starting to miss you around here.

After service today, I think HRH is considering a trip to healthy foods store and possibly their little mini-cafeteria. We noticed they have specials on some things we appreciate. I am wondering about purchasing greens to cook down, hopefully side-stepping worry about the parasite news.

Good morning

It is so nice outside this morning with temps in the high 60's. I stayed outside extra to enjoy it.
A couple days ago we had a weird cloud go over us and it RAINED for about 3 minutes. It wasn't hard enough rain or long enough to even register in our rain gauge. The local professional digital raining gauge showed .007 inch of rain happened. ANYway, the moment I saw the rain start, I ran outside and walked in it for the sheer luxury of feeling rain coming down. If you don't live on the dry hot plains then doing this might not make sense.

This is the week that public school start here. My schedule will include two half hour blocks of time to take and pickup DD15. I will also add to my schedule taking Astra outside to potty and walk while DD15 is in school.
What my schedule does NOT include is homeschooling. I am not sad to have that challenging part of my life over with!

Dh got me up early at 7:30 so we could have breakfast with ds and go on to Costco. We didn't get home until past ten last night and I didn't sleep until after eleven. So I'm "off" this morning, feeling I could have used more sleep and off my routines. Just tired. I walked and fed the dog when we got back. I think I'll nap, dh is napping in front of the TV.

Walked want to a yd. sale got 3 things & an offer one my place!
So praying on that a trade. It's a one level ... I'll put more in journey thread.

I bought a small table had to put on the legs, had em on wrong 1st attempt 2nd try all good.
Got a wooden crate and a big pic. I'm thinking it can go in the basement.
I set up the table for more of a work station on the patio area.

They had a desk I could paint too.
Gotta luv the room I have for stuff here however.

Hi!

LadyM we are currently having our third thunderstorm in less than 3 weeks. You can have the next one! It's absolutely POURING down. It's also pouring over the gutters all around the house.

Dh is coming out of another sugar crash. It went from 7 down to 3 point something and it's now back up over 5 after some orange juice and chocolate. Now we are out of orange juice. Dh doesn't want to to go out driving in this rain to go to the store. I have been in bed reading for most of the day.

I was in process of preparing 5 dishes at the same time with the stove top full & busy. Then the door bell rang. I turned the stove burners off so I could leave the kitchen. It was a lady we have casually known for a couple decades but haven't seen her for several years. We were acquaintances when we attended Cowboy Church at the same time which has been about a decade ago. ANYway, she wanted to come inside our home which normally I always welcome anyone who shows up at the door, but something about her attitude & actions hit me wrong. She physically put her hands on me as she took my arm and tried to force it away from the doorway so she could get inside. She asked where DH was and I told her that he was in the bathroom. She said I want to go see him. I told her that she could not go see DH in the bathroom. (!!!!) I told her it wasn't a good time for her to visit and she wanted to know when she could come back. I told her today wasn't a good day and eventually she left. I do not think she has dementia, but she is just very demanding person who is used to getting her own way. She always had a victim mentality and loves to talk about how horrible her life is. She doesn't consider her actions and decisions have caused any of her perceived & actual problems. I might be a bad person for not letting her come inside our home, but I just could not deal with her right now.

I set up a small fence area in the middle of the garden so I can take Astra with me for her scheduled outside times while DD15 is in school. We have a big fence around the garden but I wanted a smaller area that I can always have eyes on Astra. Once she gets out of the puppy stage and we get used to each other, then I won't need to keep eyes on her 100% of the time.

LM you did exactly the right thing.

I've been putting the new to me table's legs on it and got it cleaned up and
the crate will come in handy I luv those like you see at craft departments in H. Lobby etc.
The pic. can work in the sewing zone.

Got a fresh Tom. from the garden. Watered in back hosed out my folding wagon it needed cleaned, and the totes in it.
Refilled the water containers in front.
I need to clean out the ones in the back yd. next.
I have a plan for meals today.

Might wander to the sale for a desk to paint. X
swish n swipe main bathroom. X
I moved the bigger lengths of wood for fall fire pit Fun.

Got dishes done and did a kitchen spiff.
Feeling peaceful.
