thanks for sharing d Nancy!

enjoy your exercise d twins

put away, dusted, put laundry away, vacuumed the floor and rinsed mom's bedroom. done
vacuumed stairs to upstairs
bought more refills for swifter mop - mom's room
brought in refills for mom's room, gloves for helper, more pull up underwear, green pads
replaced sheet where dog slept next to mom - Gracie loves being near mom at night. she watches over her. She has always been a gentle soul dog.

suggested to dd younger that she doesn't come in for the shower next Saturday as it would be over $500 - she should get the airline ticket for the wedding instead. she likes to get out of Florida before the hurricane season hits. hurricane Ian was bad and she never wants to be in one again. She was going to write her cousin and aunt - they may not understand but at least they will not have to pay for her. I might still give d sis in law money for dd younger's seat anyway - just in case.
it is always a joy to be here with you!

Home from a quick trip to the city. We had 5 prescriptions that needed to be picked up so I had to squeeze this trip in. 30 minute drive there....24 minutes inside Sam's....30 minute drive back home....5 minutes to unload and put away. Easy peasy done in under 2 hours.
Taking 5 minute break to CUOP and post here then back to our regular doings

I asked Google for what to put in a go bag for some one my age with a dog!
Saved me a bunch of time and mental energy!

I learned that
AI for Seniors is a class on you tube.

Had a lazy lunch, one piece of cheese 1/2 of a graham cracker, boiled egg, soda & I'll have my ice cream in a while.

I did a quick type of it in journey thread prob. has typos still have not proofed it yet.
-----
Edited to add. DD stopped by briefly and helped me to move that desk to the basement.
I gave her bday gift to her while she was here glad I did remember that!
Yea!

The chair I was going to use for the desk is not fitting; so trying some alternative ones.
I think I have a diff. one that will fit.
Got the prayer shawls to fit into the lower larger drawers in it.
So glad I told them last year I would not be doing the Thanksgiving hot pad and dish cloth sets this year!
Doing some note taking for the vids. and am excited about the way this is presented with audio and visual graphics too.
Taking breaks between and doing some organizing with the new desk and sewing room. yea for some progress!

Home from workout - we stayed away from squats, etc because my knee is sore again. He had me doing a lot of ab/core work and upper body. I finally called doc for an appointment - can't get in until a week from Monday. The knee gets sore and then gets better. He's supposed to be a concierge type doc so I don't like it that it takes so long to get appointment. I guess they would get me in if it was critical.

I'll need to shower before we go out tonight, need to be at restaurant at six p.m.

reeling.
Not sure what I think.
Not sure how to react.
I'm researching and pondering.
Considering.

blessed, I have a thyroid nodule that reached the space it decided to take up (after taking its own sweet time doing it) and has never budged again. This is a long time. I would have to look it up or ask dr. Does this mean no one cares anymore? No, they still flutter about it, although admitting it's not really a big deal. There is a way they can take the biopsy and determine if the patient will be able to have anything but benign ones, and they did that for me and I cannot. Still, they flutter on. I've been told that the fact I need thyroid pills is not necessarily even related, btw. Also have been told that thyroid is often such a self-contained organ that many operations that do have to happen are a once-and-done thing.

I was able to find out that my first needle biopsy was in early 2012, 14 years ago. At the second one, they found out that genetically, I can only have benign nodules - that doesn't mean a dr wouldn't want to operate because it grew, of course, just hasn't grown any more. HRH's dmother has had her thyroid removed, continues to be a powerhouse.

LadyM, if your family decides on this, some ground rules like it's just not your academic table anymore, or lessons must be in a class-room (her room but specialized) that meets your standards of clean, neat and serious, etc. The one benefit I see is that you could stipulate that when her ddad needs extra attention, she is as much on call as you, because there she is, in the home, and as available in her responsibilities as you are in yours. She needs to be able to express to herself what her hopes and dreams are for her college years, her preparatory years for life, etc. And how she will still meet them if she does not have the hs experience and a hs's status (?) colleges assume. What does her research show her about how other students of the online school do in getting into a university of their choice, etc.

HRH got very uninspired by my healthy cheap eating yesterday, lol. He has supper ordered and on the way.

I've been out watering plants.

The principal of the school just left our home. She came to talk with DD15 about what happened today that made her want to switch to online. The principal is now going to the homes of the other students involved and will be suspending some tomorrow. The principal is a huge champion for DD15 and is going to do everything possible to make things better.
I am relieved. .....to say the least.

What a good principal, LadyM. So glad it looks like it is something a principal can moderate and improve.

Twins', I'm sorry your knee is painful. Have a good time this evening.

Nancy, that's a good idea. Better to think, "I'm going to be a daily walker" than "I've set a goal of walking many miles in a future competition.", (or whatever). That way you get a system that fits your life, not just a win or lose proposition that will someday be over.

I am emotionally exhausted after the appointment I had today. (See MO)

I am happy that the Principal came to talk to your dd today LadyM.

Dh called his mom tonight. She lives an hour away and hasn't heard a thing on the news regarding our flooding, then she said she never watches the news. Gee, maybe that's why you didn't hear anything. Honestly I think I need to try to stay off of FBook because that's all that has been on my FBook since Sunday. So many people lost power during the downpour and couldn't do anything about the flooding basements because they didn't have power for the sump pumps to work. One of our neighbours has a generator. We don't have a basement, and we are so grateful.

Sorry for sounding like a broken record.

My phone appointment for results of mammo/ultrasound will be next Thursday.
