Hi!

I've been to the landfill, a grocery store (for bread for dh) and Costco. There weren't many samples available today. Not anything like Fridays.

Now I am home and everything has been put away.

So today has been a really good TA DA day for decluttering and for clearing some cubic feet of space. Much went out the door - entire back seat and bitsy rear of a small SUV was filled. We had cleaned all and provided paperwork, filters, on any automatic things. Nothing was turned down. Very nice visit, too.

Plenty of kitchen spiffing today. Scrubbed the sink with soft scrub w bleach.

Unfortunately, wasted some time on a grocery order that can't be filled.

Mystery, you're blessed to have a variety that he accepts. Here, the variety is set neatly to the side in a stack. THE hat was a gift from dgdC when she was much smaller, so nothing will ever match it - she's even tried. She gave him another similar but with a front logo in leather, which you would think he'd like, and he just set it to the side. This one says "PEPAW" in large, embroidered letters in Comic Sans font (the "friendly" font?). Strangers large and small will actually read it and then say that to him. I've pointed out that we might find another one pretty close, but this is the one his little sweetheart gave him then, so he's stuck on it.

You've found such a mature, informed group with whom to share literary pursuits.

We are eating dessert first and going for ice cream before dinnertime.

rinsed the inside of the fridge - not great but good enough cleaned the top of the fridge -
mom needed my help to go to the bathroom - d helper and I are taking turns as d mom has to go a lot. I just couldn't do that to the helper
lol mom is saying "all right" with a smile to use her Sara steady - we have been working with the walker a lot today which is good.
storms are done - sunny after bad storms - amazing how that happens.

I should finish my cards but my body says no-
cards not done yet: push to next Monday.

- vacuum by hand the wood trim on floor and under cabinets.
- wash the wood trim on floor - I need to paint soon
-cabinet fronts seem to have dirt embedded on the tops of the doors how did that happen so fast. I will put a card for this next week. wash all the kitchen cabinet fronts
-clean wall above stove well
-next week clean the tiles in back of counters.
-clean the old fashioned wood coffee grinders (have 3) - I have my mom's when I was younger
-I need to clean the kitchen vents - maybe next week
dust the lights in kitchen
dust above doors/windows

what I probably will do:
make dinner - simple
dust wood baseboard in the kitchen
clean the windows in the kitchen
vacuum back of water cooler and move it and vacuum under it. rinse
maybe clean the doors in the kitchen
dust the walls
clean kitchen table AND chairs

2 weeks from now : clean French doors
2 weeks from now: clean under stove and clean the drawer
clean the oven inside and out.

the inner brat was complaining the entire time lol but I was finding it funny that I was grumbling -
mom laid down again - she slept for 15 minutes before - and right now she is talking and talking to helper even though mom is in bed again - "that soup was so good" "how many times have I been married" (once) "I was only married once? oh that's right" "can you tell me how to unlock this (the side that keeps her in: nope we don't want her to learn that!" "What color is that" "what about the wedding" (we have a wedding shower this weekend). I haven't seen her this chatty in a long time.

Fetched the mail and the can back from the street.
DD called and chatted about family and her friends
and about Dgd having her senior year in high school and all that with beyond high school,
I suggested she contact dgd#1 as she went to that collage and is off work, might be helpful info. they
can share.

No nap happened yet anyway.
I cleaned the bathroom.
Dishes are current.
Had dinner.

prepped the coffee maker for in the morning.
Next up finish watering.
Personal grooming & P>M> Rx.
Figure out my top three for tomorrow.

So there is a meteor shower the next few days worth taking a look see.
* note/ a diff. in grass and sage brush fire with several different countys fighting with air support aka air water drops

Interesting day. Not enough instruction on cemetery software but I'm hoping to find my way through. I'm not one to be scared of clicking around software and I can always "back out" if I'm in over my head. At least I hope so. I will admit to "breaking" the directory on the HOA website so hoping I don't break this. The cemetery data itself is in an Airtable, which I have a little experience with, but I can't edit columns or the way it's laid out. I'm not sure I want to yet, but I find that dates of birth and death are entered as text, not sortable by date. (is it just genealogists who think of such things? OTOH, the Excel spreadsheet that was imported was probably not consistent enough as date, either.) There's the online behind the scenes Airtable, there's also the "Field Notes" app that does the more granular mapping to supposedly show the graves within the plots.

Another setback is that the quote to restore the two large plots affected by the downed tree is 10K. There has to be a less expensive way. The descendants of these people don't even live here. I want it to look good but it doesn't need to be perfect. (There are nine graves in one "plot" and eight in the other. These are some of the older graves. So many graves across the entire cemetery, tho, that need leveling and resetting.
