I'm at church, waiting for the service to start. We were a bit late getting here due to numerous road closures. A large part of the valley park is currently on fire, with 12 fire engines, ( correction: there were actually 20 fire engines at its peak) , a mobile incident.room, one helicopter and. a lone police.car in attendance. We're all safe,.and although the fire was not completely under control when we left, it's. moving away from the Apparently the smoke.can be seen from miles away..

I have just walked Germane. It's such a beautiful night that I have opened the patio door for the night.

we're at 96% humidity again, and still hot temp as well, so I didn't go for a welk. Our indoor walking track surrounds the election area, so is off limits for election day. I was kind of lazy today.
I did crochet a row adn a half on dsis2 birthday shawl. It starts small and gets bigger as it gets longer, so the rows are now quite long. I have a few more rows to og, and think I will need to buy another skein of yarn - I hope it's on sale next week, it seems Hobby Lobby has it on sale about every other week, but not this week.
And I washed by hand the few dishes I had used at mother's kitchen.
Made both beds that the VBS leaders had slept in
Folded the towels
Took my computer home - and I will sleep at my house tonight - after I take a shower and wash my hair.
