Basic Weekly Plans

it's so nice to get back to my weekly plan.

My one goal this week is to stay off the computer except for checking in with everyone here.
My studies will now be from the manual as I am done relearning about cells/organelles, transport, transpiration and photosynthesis - I will say it was fun but I have to move forward in my learning.
Next will be the different leaves, etc.

Sunday: move furniture in front room - empty as much as I can
I have decided to move most of the things on the laundry room shelf to I don't know where so that I can put dh's supplies in each reach.
this week:
what do I need for the garden for spring: mushroom compost, dirt, set up new raised beds
buy new fencing for parterre garden (with 2 gates).

Monday I have an appointment for my 3 year old dog in for her Lyme disease.
Monday: I should receive some supplies
laundry room duties
outside work
visit dh

Tuesday swish and swipe bathroom

garden
buy bird seed and fill container.

Wednesday bills
paperwork
anti procrastination

Thursday errands?

Friday: family room, 3 season room, basement

What I need to do: vacuum all through the house including basement

trying hard to get back to basics while we have a lull

Sunday quiet day - creative day-my needlepoint - nice dinner - outside work, get bird seed - I can leave mom with helper and dd's
Monday: whites, laundry room, kitchen monthly cards - bird baths - dogs
Tuesday: bathrooms, towels, outside work/water - my brother has hospice coming. breath in day
Wednesday: anti procrastination: hamburger, black bean something, pizza, salads
Thursday used to be errands: not sure towels again
Friday car and purse day.

I am reading the side tracked home executive this week (AGAIN )
I also working on the happiness file - I usually do that this time of year. thinking of things for dh/dd's/d mom, sister in laws, strangers.

My dd27 also has a bday next week, think, think, think.

This coming week does not have anything on the calendar, yay, but that's misleading because I have lots of responsibilities.

(last week, with 3 distant appts, was hard. A couple days didn't seem to have progress on much at all.)

I've started an extra-emphasis set of 4 areas this coming week. This is just a free printable I found online ages ago. A sheet separated into 4 parts, at the top saying "This Week". This time I've got "Nutrition Planning", "Call/Contact" and "Projects". I'll likely decide on the last one as the week starts to play out. Leaning toward "nagging chores", lol.

I have had to add things to my calendar - mom activities to keep her engaged and physically healthier
I also have a vacuum better card each day - say move the furniture etc. just vacuuming the center areas makes a lot of dog hair under things.

August 2026: furnace people coming to check furnace for winter
August 17 Monday is laundry room/kitchen cards weekly and additional missed some of the weeklies bc of big project.
front hall as well - wash front door and outside glass door - after vacuuming and dusting.
vacuum/sweep better - mini job: garage

August 18 Tuesday: bathroom day
do the weekly cards for the laundry room - simple
dh took my car for pollution test - at first he looked at it as a big thing but he has to take his car as well and he realized it would be good to know where it is. I don't want his world to keep getting smaller and this is right in his wheel house (whatever that means lol) - passed the pollution test and dh was very proud of himself for going. I put the sticker on my plates. paid him back for my sticker.

August 19 Wednesday: phone calls make appointments slept all day and then rested put forward

jobs this week: sand dh's window frame so that I can paint it with a shiny paint - I haven't done this yet. the window is clean but needs sanding.

I have been asking dh to sand his window but I don't think he remembers or he doesn't want to do it.
it will have to be something I need to do.

AUGUST 24 -
Monday: make phone calls for dr. appointments
heavy job: wash the other front cabinets and if I have enough energy - wash the wood trim under cabinets

my decluttering job took 3 hours - I hadn't expected that - I did finish the one thing.
