front hall as well - wash front door and outside glass door - after vacuuming and dusting.

Good morning, everyone! I rose early, sort of. Woke up and couldn't get back to sleep. Too tired to get up, but my mind was racing with things I should be doing. Why my mind doesn't do that when my body is awake and give me some motivation, I don't know. Hmph. Up, s2s, fed, treadmilled. Need to go back upstairs and tidy the bathroom. Couldn't do it at its usual time (before I come downstairs) because I didn't have the plastic bag I needed to bundle up the old towels I used to soak up the water when the toilet overflowed. So I need to grab one, take it up there, tidy the bathroom, and take the towels to the laundry. Not happy to have the extra load of laundry -- I was hoping to have the time to get DC to gather up a load from their room and wash it. Oh, well.

DC has not shown their face yet despite wake-up calls at 7, 7:30, and 8. This time eight days from now, they will be starting class. If they're driving themself, as is the plan for most class days, they will need to leave even earlier than they did in the past, because they will need time to find a parking space and walk from it. Ah, well, that's why we're starting with the earlier alarm just over a week beforehand. Last I checked (more than an hour ago), they were sitting up and had their light on, so I was really expecting to see them downstairs by now. Oh, I hear the squeak of the floorboards; sounds like they're headed down now.

Grocery list, which I have kept putting off, is the priority for the day. I did pick up some stuff at the store to make dinner for today, but I don't have a plan for tomorrow.

Heading out to Dr appt. Of course, knee which was original issue is much better and I'm still suffering the cold, but better. I hope it's okay to go into the doc's office.

Good morning

This is day #5 living with pain. Sciatic nerve pain is no joke. Each day I am sure that I am better than the day before. But if that was true, then I should be over this. I don't know. I'm cranky from being in pain and ready to be back to normal doings.

DS18 was launched to work with pleasant chit chatter happening.

DD15 was delivered to school while discussing the theme for their float. Each grade has a different decade theme. Her class has the 70's. They are doing a hippie van with tie dye patterns.

DH can't remember where he put his dirty underwear. I give him clean underwear each day before he takes a shower, but it is always an unknown what will happen. Sometimes he wears 2 pair (dirty & clean). Other times he puts the underwear somewhere safe.....eventually we will find it.

Dishes and laundry are caught up.

Two types of meat are thawing. I'll decide what to cook with them later.

We have 4 medical appointments this week. After school today we will immediately take off to the city for DD15 appointment with her trusted counselor. After that appt we will eat out at DD15 choice (most likely will be Whataburger)

used my new electric scrubber for kitchen cabinets (outside and trim) on one side of the kitchen - as well as the wall above the stove area. . I think it would be wise of me to break this job into two zones or three.
microwave stopped working - I will try the electric panel and turn it off and on and see if it resets itself.
I need to call on the washer as it is smelling - I think the drum needs cleaning before it breaks

furnace guy is here and has the heat on in the house - can't wait to get air on again. very humid here.

d lady I am so so sorry you are still in pain - I pray that the inflammation goes down very soon! As you know my dd younger has CRPS and when she has inflammation it is awful - I am praying you get relief very soon.

how nice to have such nice conversations with your sweet kiddos in the am before they start their day!
I understand about the underwear - we were like that for the last couple years with d mom." eventually it is found"! so true. I always found it interesting bc when it is found there is logic to it (most times).
