Good morning, dSHEs. It is a lovely cool summer day with blue skies and white clouds. What we dream of all winter. I just heard Germane sneeze under the bed, which tells me that this is a great time to grab clothing and spiff myself in the bathroom without disturbing her.
Later: Germane heard me and came out for her breakfast, LOL. We had to open a new container, so broke into the flat of Go! duck, and it was acceptable to her. It's a relief to see her eating well again.

I'm going to try to do 15s today, as there is no place that I have to go.

Thank you for starting us off, Kittykatt. That meagre food purchase makes me wonder if Mica's owners have been underfeeding her all along, and just expecting her to supplement it by catching birds and mice. She will be so much better off if her owners don't come back.
Enjoy your Not Entirely Free day. :)

Friday is so seldom the day that we don't want, helia.

L.Ann, thank you for the explanation. The flash mob sounds wonderful! I hope that the crowd appreciates it and that DD33 enjoys it.

Empty the car is on my list too, kitkat. There was a good sale on tissues, so I stocked up. They're still in the trunk.

Friday
Heart pill for Germane
15:
Cleaned up after Germane
Breakfast for Germane
Searched for an Away to put the folded sheet: found space on a shelf in the back of the walk-in closet. There are things piled up in front to deal with first.
Bagged the sheet and put it on the dw cart for when I pull it out

Dogged - good to see you. Happy to hear Germane is eating.

Back from carwash.
Dpup wanted to socialize with a gentleman... (She was pretty polite about it)
I had to remind myself that her current behaviour is a huge improvement over what it was when we first went to the car wash. This was (I think) her 3rd or 4th time.. She lied down when I sat down - can't complain.

I'm preparing tofu for DH, and eating a bit. Then:

lol adv/start/fpa
go shopping - no more procrastinating.

Thanks, kitkat. It's good to see you too. Your pup is doing great. I mean, isn't she a young labrador? As in, I love everyone and shall glue myself to anyone whose body language can possibly be interpreted as an invitation?

My neighbors are getting new siding today. Lots of hammer and nail sounds. Their house was light blue, like mother's. But apparently that's not available, and they are getting what appears to be a very blah gray, that has a green tint to it, and looks awful with their grey roof that has more of a blue case to the gray. I wonde rif the siding was damaged in the hail we had in April - They got a new roof too, just yesterday. I maybe should have mine checked again. It aws OK right after the storm, and the shingles are supposed to be hail resistant (it was put in in Sept, only 7 months before the hail)... I do have 2 years to report it to my insurance company. I think it will wait until next year - I have enough to do ATM. And mother's siding was damaged in the sotrm as well. I will not turn her pretty light blue house to drab gray! I'll put tape over the 2 holes and paint the tape to match before I do taht!

This morning I baked a sunshine cake for my son's birthday - today. I have cleaned up the K as well, and washed my sheets.
Getting dressed was a big deal today - I wanted to stay in my nitie.
My niece is coming later today - She is going to be a big help to me at mother's, whatever we choose to do. I have some foods to bring to mother's so she has milk, eggs, some cardamon bread that I baked yesterday, some yogurt for breakfast. Mostly we'll eat together, and tonight I am taking everyone out for dson's birthday, when he gets back from work - he is a regional rep for a major company, stayed overnight 5 1/2 hours away; he has customer stops along the way home too.
He is working hard, seems to be enjoying it, and is REALLY wanting to get their "rookie of the year" award. He has so much energy. I guess I did too, at that age.

Anytime that I put ANYTHING away, I feel like I have accomplished something. Thinking about how I have taken care of so many people, and now I'm starting to take care of me - my house. A long way to go, but one surface at a time....
kittykatt, is Mica warming up to you, greeting you when you come with her food, asking for some pets and attention?

helia, I hope you have a good visit with your brother. Do I remember that it has been a long time since you have seen him? I have missed a couple days - how old is his daughter?

I've got some FACE challenges this afternoon, then take food to mother's for my niece. After I make my bed with clean sheets.

Gma, I haven't seen him for a while, yes - probably since Thanksgiving when he was here last. I'm impressed you know that. I will try to have a good attitude and be loving and caring - as I should be. He doesn't have a lot of things in life that I have. His daughter is 28 years old but is challenged, and interacts more like a 3-4 year old. She is generally quite sweet.

It's nice to have my car so clean again! They did a great job! I think all the dog fur is gone!! :D

I've finished the sub notes and updated my timesheet. I'm tired now. . . Maybe I'll fold the clothes piled on my bed.

BTW, I succeeded in decluttering 7 pairs of long pants yesterday. That doesn't sound like a lot compared to the many pairs I still own - but it has helped my closet.
