Sunday Girl" is a song recorded by the American new wave band Blondie, from the band's 1978 album Parallel Lines. Written by guitarist Chris Stein, the song was inspired by Debbie Harry's cat, who was named Sunday Man—the cat had recently run away, inspiring the song's "plaintive" nature.

"Sunday Girl" was released as the follow-up single to the band's number one hit single, "Heart of Glass," in the UK and Europe (though not in the US). The single was a number 1 hit in the UK and Ireland and reached the top ten in several European countries. It has since seen critical acclaim and has been included on several compilation albums.

Good morning kittykatt, and happy Sunday. I just posted on Saturday, and am heading to bed so I can get up early enough to pic up mu niece for church. ♥

Gma, what a wonderful helper your dniece is! And just the help that you need.

Pinky And The Brain is a Christmas planter. It has a jade plant and asparagus fern. It used to have a frost fern that gave up. But it got its name from the ivy and polka dot plants that tried to take over my apartment. I ended up buying a plastic decorative cage to train them up, and they have mostly given up trying to take over the world. But they do send out exploratory tendrils from time to time, just to see if I'm paying attention.

Germane heard me the kitchen while I was getting the bread out of the breadmaker and came looking for fish. I gave her a piece and she promptly dropped it in her water bowl. I thought that I was going to have to drain her bowl and get it out for her, but she gamely went bobbing for fish and got it out herself. Well done, Germane.

Edit: And then she peed on the kitchen floor.

Up early with a headache, took my Advil ... which woke my pup:) So now, we are ready for the day. Looks gloomy out - I need to check weather to see when to walk. We DID get a big rain last night.

Unfortunately, I did not finish the laundry, so that is where I start. (Dogged knows it's never done...
I have to go to a couple of stores (quickly) - later.
There might be a class at night.
