Hello, everyone!

Helia, I'm glad DBro's visit went as well as could be expected. Does DNiece's mother have any input in her daughter's life with matters like personal hygiene?

KitKat, Izzy is DF CW's cat. They live opposite us.

L.Ann,.I think you're very wise to wait until everyone's schedule is sorted out before making big changes to your daily life.

LOL at Pinky and the Brain attempting to take over the world, Dogged!

Gma that breakfast sounds delicious! I hope you have another productive day with DNiece.

Welcome back, FFB! I'm glad you had a good break.

Today I managed to be showered,.dressed, breakfasted, litter trays changed and all five cats fed, water changed and petted before I needed to be OTD at 8.45.am,.so I'm considering that a win. :D

Church was very good and DF E was in good form. We had lovely sunshine, so I've had some time in my garden with Mica "helping " and a long chat with Dnextdoorneighbour C. Laundry is folded and PA, and DH has returned home ( no doubt bringing another load of laundry with him,!) but that can wait. For now, I'm sitting in my chair, with Matilda on my lap.

WTG, FrenchFly. It takes me forever to get just myself unpacked after a trip.

Kittykatt, Pinky And The Brain are on their way to our swimming pool. I put them out on the balcony a day or two ago, and the polka dot plant has already escape the cage, draped itself over the trellis, and is parallel to ground, reaching for our swimming pool. I'll have to keep an eye on it and train it before it eats the neighbours.
LOL, I expect that Matilda has get her scent on you to secure her place in the world, after seeing you in the garden fraternizing with strange cats!

L.Ann, it's lovely that your DD33 and Little Bit are so close.

Sunday
Flipped Germane’s fish
Cleaned up after dog
Spot-cleaned floor
Hung the laundry and the laundry bags
Gave Germane some fish and put the rest in the fridge
Took the bread out of the bread maker
Gave Germane some fish
Germane peed on the kitchen floor.
Washed the floor
Woke up. Germane has been busy, but the mop is within reach.
Washed my way to the kitchen.
Gave Germane her heart pill
Put away dry dishes
Showered/washed hair
Noticed Germane had a Klingon
Grabbed toilet paper, put her on the counter and got it off
Set her down and washed my hands
Turned and saw that she had pooped right behind me
Picked up the poops and flushed them
Stepped out to the main room to get the wipes to clean the floor and saw a flood of pee
Put down paper towels
Washed the bathroom floor
Washed the main room floor
Washed the tile floor

doggedly, polka dot must love the outdoors!
FFB, dniece is taking home 2 large boxes of Christmas kids - dolls that can stand on the front porch; 1 holds a lantern, I don't remember what the other one is doing. A few years ago, both mother and my dsis3 saw these in a catalogue, and each bought the pair for the other! And 2 scarecrows to tie to the porch railing for autumn. And a string of pumpkin lights. And several items of clothing. And some jewelry. And some pictures of herself that dsis3 sent niece was a child. And a number of other things.
She tossed some rancid nuts, emptied the baking cupboard of anything that had a "best by date" older than 2 years.
We have some empty shelves!

But the house is still very very full.
We did find some treasures: picture of dsis2 at age 7 months, big smile. Year book from my mother's nursing school graduation - 1945.
Here's my chuckle fo the day: I went to the attic to get the doll that mother always said should go to dniece (K). The box has been there for years and years. The back of the box is what has been visible. When I picke dup the box, the front, where you can see the doll showed that the box was completely empty. There's a doll somehwere in the attic, but tonight was not the night to search (among 2 dozen or more bins of Christmas, 9 of autumn/ halloween/ Thanksgiving, about a dozen of Easter/ Spring, and ?? sq feet of just "stuff."
Ladies, that is just the attic, not counting a full basement, 3 bedrooms, 2 hutch cupboards, 2 garages, 7 closets on main floor, 2 in the basement. Just one bite at a time.
Dsis3 comes later in the week - Thursday or Friday. We'll work together and see what we can do.
As much as I'd like to get a paying tenant, for the time being I kind of like not having a stranger in the house. We also sent ALL the dishes in the apartment through the DW so everything is spotless. If no tenant happens, we at least have everything clean and ready for a garage/ estate sale (in the distant future!)
Neighbors stopped by on their walk. Their little girl was delighted when I gave her one of my mother's dolls.

I have a couple of tasks for tomorrow after K leaves. A check to locate, and gather greeting cards in my house and mother's; sort them per occassion (birthday, anniv, get well, etc) and blank stationery. Plus banking. If I set that as a goal for tomorrow, I think that is doable.

yes, it's a big job - but how do you eat an elepahnt? One bite at a time.
Thanks to you all for listening to me as I both fuss and cheer along the way!

I just found the check I needed to find. It helped to pray about it.
Now I can go to sleep.
G'night
